You may not set the same table twice during any one tourney with the afore mentioned exception.  This rule only applies to the SETTER only.  If you were playing at a table in another round, but didn’t set it, then this rule does not apply.

SPECIAL RULES FOR ANY STYLE OF PARTNERS TOURNEYS

These rules apply to 2vs2 or 3vs3 partner tourneys.

SUBS

If your partner is not in the lobby the TD will sub until the mia player shows up.  If the mia player shows up he/she can resume play and the TD will step out.

If the mia player is a "no show" the "sub" can continue to play.  If the TD is subbing, it is totally at the TD’s discretion to decide if he or she wishes to continue to sub into another round, depending on his or her comfort playing while running the particular tourney type.

The "sub" WILL NOT receive wins, stats changes, or bux.

If no permanent "sub" is found or the “mia” player doesn't show within the 8 minute timer, the team will take a loss.  If the tournament is a Double Elimination, the loss would apply to both the top and bottom parings and it would possibly mean 2 losses for the team.

At any time, the present player can ask for the team to be withdrawn except in a Double Elimination which would mean taking a loss for the next round.

 BOOTS IN A PARTNERS TOURNEY:

In the event of a booted partner, the 8 minute timer will start with the first boot.  Timer stops at return (see subbing rules above ) If same player is booted again, restart the 8 minute timer at that time (see subbing rules above ) If the same player has a third boot, there is no timer a "sub" can fill in for the rest of the game.

TAG TEAM SPECIAL RULES

The 3 boots you are out rule applies as in all other formats.  The subbing for partners rules also apply in tag.

While playing tag format, if the two players at the table leave at the same time making the cards re-set, the player that left by mistake will cause their team to take the loss for that game only.  If it cannot be decided who was wrong to leave the table then the game will be restarted.

If you toss your cards to the crib when you were to leave the table and then do leave, that hand is between you and your partner and has no effect on the opponent’s hand.    If you play the hand when you should have left the table, you should switch upon discovering the error and not continue to play. In either case, the game will continue.
