Crib4fun Code of Conduct

Behavior in the game room

Crib4fun is a very relaxed league and we want everyone to have a good time. However, please respect the rights of others to come and play here without any hassles or having to worry about being offended in any way.

Although the majority of our members are of legal age, Myleague does allow people as young as 13 to join. Please keep that in mind when talking and having fun in the open lobby.

Respect and sportsmanship are of the utmost importance.

Flirting is fine. Hugging, kissing, being friendly in the lobby is acceptable behavior. Sex talk or swearing of any kind is not.  Most of us are adults, please use good judgment, while remembering there could be others in the room who are either children, or could be offended by what is being said.

Harassment of any kind towards any player is not acceptable. There is no reason why everyone can't come to the New Competitive Room on VuGames and feel comfortable. If you have issues with anyone the best thing to do is ignore them. Mute them if you must. Harassing and rude e-mails or IM's are included.

Please keep all personal issues outside of the game room and open chat.

Tournament Directors

The Tournament Director is in charge of the game lobby and the tourney at all times.

They can decide what acceptable behavior is and what is not. We ask that you respect their decisions. When they are asking someone to refrain from certain comments or behavior, it is usually because they are dealing with a complaint from another member.

A player is not allowed to be rude to a tournament director under any circumstances.

Tournament Directors for Crib4fun are held to a higher standard of responsibility and accountability than the players.

In a tournament, the Tournament Directors decisions are final.

Rules

The rules for Cases Ladder and Myleague are clearly outlined under the link “Rules” on the left side of the main page.

Additional Crib4fun Tournament rules are outlined at the following locations in both English and French.

Crib4fun Rules (English)

Individual tournament rules are outlined in each tourney page under the link “Rules” and many times can be found on the main page of the individual tournament.

Before the start of the tournament, the Tournament Director will run condensed rules in the game room.

Ignorance of a rule is not an excuse, it’s your responsibility to learn all the rules.

Disciplinary Actions

We will make every effort to be fair and to keep an open mind at Crib4fun but we do have to take action sometimes. If you break the rules the following are the steps we will take.

  1. First time - Warning
  2. Second time - Boxed for 3 days
  3. Third time - Boxed for 7 days
  4. Fourth time - Removed from league

Gross miss-conduct will be dealt with in a different manner and the player will be informed as such.

Note: These are just a guideline. Final determination on disciplinary actions will be determined by Crib4fun Admin.

This policy applies to all members and staff of Crib4fun.

Please send any complaints to 777Murphy_ADM at murphy777@comcast.net

All complaints will be kept anonymous unless it is necessary that we need to involve you in the situation.
