GOOD NEWS

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

We receive God's Word in the Holy Bible.  In John 3:16 (KJV) we learn

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Romans 3:23 tells us

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

The Good News is that God, our Heavenly Father, loves us so much that He sent his son, Jesus, to us.  He came to teach us, to heal us, and to show us by His words and the life He led how we should live, how to help others and how to tell others about the Good News.  He came to freely die for our sins that we might be saved and have eternal life with Him.  He arose, ascended to Heaven and there sits on the right hand of God where He intercedes for us.

To receive salvation, first, we must admit that we are living without Jesus in our life, that is, we are living in sin.  Second, we must believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.  Last, we must confess our sins and ask God to forgive us.

If you would like to do this now, believe that Jesus is the Son of God and pray this simple prayer to God.

God, I know that I am a sinner.
God, I know that the wages of sin is death.
God, I have no power over my sin.
God, I turn away from my sin,
God, I ask your son, Jesus Christ, to come into my life and forgive me.
Come into my life Lord Jesus.
Thank you God for the gift of eternal life.
  Amen.

May God bless you.  Now that you have made the most important decision in your life, know that God wants you to have a full and rewarding life.  Here are a few suggestions as you begin your journey as a Christian.

  1. Read the Holy Bible everyday.  If you do not have one, obtain one immediately.  God will speak to you through His word and reveal His plan for your life.
  2. Prayer is your lifeline to God.  Begin and end each day in prayer.  This may be difficult in the beginning, but as you continue taking your life, your praise, and your needs before God your prayers will become more meaningful and you will draw closer to Him.
  3. Be a witness for Him throughout your life.  Be ready to share what Christ has done for you whenever you have an opportunity.
  4. Get involved in a Church that preaches the Word of God and attend regularly.  Start this Sunday.
Just as a child needs food and training, you, as a new child in Christ, need spiritual food and training.  You should contact a local church for your spiritual food, training, and for fellowship.

Now that you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, please contact us at im4Jesus43@yahoo.com or meister at nkizzee@hotmail.com to let us know about your decision.  You can ask us any question that you might have.

Again, may God Bless You.
