Styles come about every 100 battles but the first one is when you are facing evil navis in ACDC1.

Your first style is a fire style depending on how you fight you will get a different styles

Fire style
Heat guts-attained by using buster alot
Heat shield-attained by using the "guard" chip alot
Heat team-attained by usng chips wisly
