Because of the enormity of the game, I am having
a difficult time grasping all of Dragon Wang at once. For the
experts that have a firm grasp of the Dragon Wang fundamentals, what
is the easiest way to play? I usually don't have a lot of time to
play, so most of the time I just want to get off a few quick games
before work.
My girlfriend likes to play with the "vibration"
setting on but I find this too distracting. Whenever she comes over,
she goes straight for the Dragon Wang. I like to play too so usually
I'm like, "Who's Dragon Wang is this anyways?" I don't want her to
drop Dragon Wang altogether. It is more fun when we both play with
Dragon Wang together. I'm even trying to get her friends to come
over and play Dragon Wang with us but she won't have it. She says
that she wants Dragon Wang all to herself. She is a big Dragon Wang
hog.
She beats my Dragon Wang all the time. I'm just tired
of it. I want to beat Dragon Wang too. This game is just too darn
hard and she is just plays with it too darn long. She just says,
"What can I tell you? I just love Dragon Wang! I can't get enough of
it!" Does anyone have a nice Dragon Wang tip I can try out on her?
When she's playing, I just can't ever seem to beat it! Thanks in

play Dragon Wang and I told her, "No." I'm a little self-concious

Great. Now I can't get Dragon Wang to load. I
tried playing last night but it won't work. I gave Dragon Wang lots
of RAM. I have a big hard drive. I kept trying and trying, still no
load. Is Dragon Wang broken? Is it because Dragon Wang is so old? It
is very frustrating for me. I want to play. I want to play Dragon
Wang real bad. I just can't get the darn thing to work anymore.
Should I seek the services of a professional? Maybe it is the box
I'm trying to get it to work in? It is old too. If it won't load, I
don't see the point in continuing to try to get Dragon Wang to work.
Maybe I'll just try inserting Dragon Wang into a new box. Hopefully
that will fix the problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Dragon Wang was too long. That last boss was
brutal too.
My girlfriend is much better at beating Dragon
Wang than I am. Here is her advice: As you go down that long
shaft leading to the head boss, grab as many nuts as you can for for
health. Once you come to the end of the shaft you will face the head
boss, Dragon Wang himself! At this point Dragon Wang is very hard.
Just keep whacking Dragon Wangs head. Dragon Wang only has one eye
so try to center yourself on it. If you keep whacking and whacking
it, eventually Dragon Wang will explode. It took me 10 tries before
I could finish off the Dragon Wang for the very first time. The more
you do it though, the better you get at it. It is quite a satisfying
feeling to finish Dragon Wang off. --- You tell the angels
in heaven you never seen evil so singularly personified as you

You're welcome!
I am glad to see so many
people on this board that share my passion for playing Dragon Wang!
Like a lot of games, to get real good at playing Dragon Wang, you
have to play it a lot. I play with Dragon Wang at least twice a day
during the week and on weekends, I have been known to get in about
15 Dragon Wang sessions in a single day! Usually after such a day my
hand is sore, so I have to lay off Dragon Wang for a while
afterwards.
I have found that the key to Dragon Wang is
technique. Once you get the right technique down, beating Dragon
Wang becomes pretty quick and easy.
I finally got my Dragon
Wang Official Strategy Guide from Amazon.com! Now, before I play
Dragon Wang, I usually will open the guide book and look at all the
pictures. Sometimes I leave the guide book open so I can look at the
pictures while playing Dragon Wagon. I find that looking at the
center pull-out while playing Dragon Wang is the most helpful. It
really helps you to beat it! --- You tell the angels in heaven

*bump* Must save until I have time again to
post between beating Dragon Wang and playing Beat
Head. http://s2.cgi.gamefaqs.com/boards/gentopic.asp?board=13989
I've
been playing Beat Head feverishly for hours now. I almost enjoy it
as much as I do playing Dragon Wang. You pretty much use the same
skills to finish Beat Head as you do to beat Dragon Wang but there
is enough variation between the two to keep you interested in
enjoying both.
Somebody asked me by email the other day if I
ever get blisters on my palms from playing Dragon Wang. I thought I
would share my answer with the board. Before each and every Dragon
Wang session, I usually apply a liberal amount to lotion to my hand.
Because of the amount of friction you create between your hand and
the Dragon Wang controller, it is not unusual to get lost in the
game play and end up injuring yourself. I've done this while playing
other games but never to the extent that I have with Dragon Wang.
The lotion really helps to keep your hand nice and moisturized. That
way when you are having an intense Dragon Wang session, you don't
have to worry about damaging your skin with friction
burns.
Another person emailed me asking me how old I was the
first time I saw Dragon Wang? A: I was 14 and it was love at
first sight. Many years later, I am still enjoying the pleasures of
Dragon Wang. The first time you get past the head boss and finish
Dragon Wang it is an intense pleasure that words alone cannot
describe. It is something you just have to experience for
yourself.
To the person that asked me how to clean Dragon
Wang, use a damp cloth with a little soap and water. Dragon Wang is
very sensitive. Detergents and commercial cleaners are much too
harsh and may damage Dragon Wang.
If anyone else has
additional question about Dragon Wang, please feel free to email me.

New email: Q: When you are at a friends
house, do you ever grab his Dragon Wang when he isn't looking and
start to play with it? A: No. I never just grab someone's Dragon
Wang. That is totally rude. If I want to play with someone's Dragon
Wang (or any other game for that matter), I always ask first. It is
the polite thing to do. --- All it takes for evil to triumph

Q: What if you have a girl over and she grabs
your Dragon Wang and starts to play with it? Is that rude? Should
she ask before she pulls it out and starts playing with it? A:
Well, I used to tell my girlfriend to kiss Dragon Wang (for good
luck) before starting to play with it. I don't know if it helped her
scores or not but it sure didn't hurt them. I guess the answer is,
it depends on the girl.
Some girls are pretty rough with
Dragon Wang and that's not cool. You need to have a soft touch.
While those older cartridges were pretty durable back in the day,
with age, they become fragile. Before any girl starts grabbing for
my Dragon Wang, i want to be confident that she isn't going to cause
any damage. it isn't like I can just run out and buy a new one or
something.
I think that if a girl comes over and you don't
know each other very well, it is polite to ask before reaching for
Dragon Wang. But if I'm comfortable with the person, I don't mind if
she plays with it a bit.
I used to enjoy watching my
girlfriend's reflection inn the television while she played. I miss
that cute expression she used to get on her face whenever she would
beat it. --- All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men

PM Seriously, what is this game like?
It's like a
cool summer breeze on a hot summer night. It is like the reflection
of the moon falling across the top of wet palm trees during a
violent tropical storm. It is the eye in the maelstrom. It is the
joker in the pack. It is like that little reminder tugging at your
brain trying to warn you that at home, the iron is still on, burning,
burning, burning, like that fire in your soul. It is like the ninja
that creeps silently in the night, moving from roof top to roof top
with cat-like precision. It is like the moment in between a wakeful
state of enlightenment and the blissful state of ignorance but
without all the melodramatic prose. It is as quiet as a bunny fart
and as loud as a Jurassic Park DVD with a 7.2 surround system. It is
like the tears of a weeping woman than just got short changed on her
recent purchase of chicken McNuggets from a famous fast food
restaurant suffering from a declining market share in a declining
market. It is a force not to be trifled with. It is the source of
all human knowledge and all human misery. It is like the place your
soul goes to if you die a virgin. It is like no other game you have
ever experienced. So grab on with both hands and play the game that
has no end. Beat the head boss and become the master of your
destiny. In the line between shadow and light, there stands only one
game, one game alone, that has no peer in the world. That game is
Dragon Wang. The eternal Wang. Lord of all games that has come
before it. The lord of all games that will ever come, that will ever
hope to come. Few players will rise to the occasion and beat Wang.
Few players will finish Wang off. This is the challenge of the Wang.

Has anyone seen the movie version of Dragon
Wang? I'm trying to order it on DVD.
Somebody told me that
the Dragon Wang release for the U.S. was re-titled as "Dragon Wang:
Lord of The Pants." However on a website, they had it listed as
"Crouching Dragon, Hidden Wang." Maybe Lord of The Pants is the U.K.
release?
I hate buying obscure DVDs on the web because of
regional lock. I live in region 1 and don't want to get stuck with
an unusable region 2 DVD.
Regional lock: The most popular
and evident. It divides the world in 6 big regions:
1)
Canada and United States
2) Europe, Japan, South-Africa and
Middle-East
3) South-east of Asia and far east
4)
Australia, Pacific, Middle and South America
5) North and
middle Asia, India, North and Middle Africa
6) China
How big was the original release? Was it in wide
release? Where was Dragon Wang released? I think Dragon Wang because
of its size would have to be released only for the biggest region. I
don't think it would fit in Japan or China. I did a Google search
but didn't turn up anything. What region was Dragon Wang originally
in? I'm sure it was a huge hit. I know if I could have, I would have
grabbed a copy.

PM I come home, hoping to play with Dragon Wang. I then find
out that an integral part is broken! (the longer part) Do you know a
place where I can find a new Dragon Wang? I need to play with it as
soon as possible!
Yes. You must bring Dragon Wang to your
local service center. Sure, you could probably do it yourself but if
you have the money, why not go to a professional? Just make sure you
are leaving Dragon Wang in good hands. You want to make sure that
the person handling Dragon Wang is a properly certified and trained
expert.
I once had my Dragon Wang serviced by a professional
when I was staying in Las Vegas for a gaming convention. Good
results. Not only did she repair and service Dragon Wang, but she
cleaned it before handing it back to me. Dragon Wang looked and
played like new. The end result was certainly worth paying for.
Highly recommended.

From: Whocares 6/10/2003 1:54:51 AM I
hear the uncut version is more fun to beat and is slightly longer,
but I hear the cut version is more common. Which is
better?
I did a little research on Google, I guess that
there were two versions of Dragon Wang released. One is the short
version. The other is the long version that most of us have had the
pleasure of playing with. I have never played with the short version
myself, but my girlfriend insists that the longer version is the way
to go. She says that the short version just doesn't satisfy her the
way that the longer version does.
I've always made the
argument that it isn't the length of the game but rather the quality
of play that is important. She assures me that maybe that's how some
guys might think, but girl gamers see it in a completely different
way. She says that the thing that attracted her to Dragon Wang in
the first place was its enormous size. Personally, I like deep
games, so I can agree with her thinking to some degree. The deeper
the better. However, I also think that a shorter game with excellent
game play can be satisfying too. (She's behind my should right now,
laughing at me as I type this). She's insisting that a bigger and
longer Dragon Wang is a better Dragon Wang. She is telling me that
the lore of a shorter Dragon Wang providing a similar level of
gaming pleasure is nothing more than a myth created by lesser
level-designers.

Dragon Wang has tremendous replay value. Dragon
Wang is one of the few games you can beat over and over again. Heck,
I'm beating Dragon Wang right now! Do you know how hard it is to
type one-handed? Like I said, best game ever. No matter how many
times you have made the head boss explode in the past, it is always
fun to make Dragon Wang explode one more time. Finish the game and
start a new one. That replay value is what keeps me coming and
coming back for more.
In fact, I'm looking forward to getting
my hands on and beating the Japanese version. --- All it takes
