Q - On the top of Hyrule Castle there is a door guarded by some sort of forcefield or energy thingy, what is it and how do I get by it

A - Well, that thing is an energy barrier which cannot be broken until you get the Master sword. Don't worry, it is crucial to your quest until you have the 3 pendants and the master sword so don't go spending too much time trying to figure out how to get by it. When you have the Master Sword just slash it once and you can enter. Behind it is the boss, Agahnim and the entrance to the Dark World

Q - I gave the lady at the potion shop my magic mushroom and she won't give me my magic powder! Whats going on, Kholdstare?

A - The answer is really simple. You need to have patience. The needs some time to make the powder, so you should leave the screen and come back. Enter the magic shop and the merchant will have your magic powder!

Q - How come the guy with the weird hat in Kakariko Village keeps running away from me? How do I catch him, Kholdstare?

A - I'm sorry to break it to you but that guy will never stop running away from you. The Hylian Guards have made Link out to be a criminal and that fast man thinks your gonna hurt him so he runs away. The only way to catch him is to use the pegasus boots, but even then it's hard. You need practise and it'll be 3 or 4 times before you finally do catch him. Then you can talk to him

Q - In the library, how do I get that big green book down?

A - It's very easy. The Book of Mudora is located in the library south of Kakariko Village on the top of the bookcase. What you have to do is charge at the bookcase and the book will fall to the ground. Then you are free to pick it up, for it is the key to opening the desert palace.

Q - How do I upgrade my Boomerang and Shield?

A - A couple screens east of the potion shop you find the Zora waterfalls. Your first stop is there where you'll need to give the Zora 500 rupees in exchange for the flippers. Once you have the flippers head out of the Zora waterfalls screen until you get to the screen with the single waterfall with the warp portal and the crab thingies on shore and the tiny cliffs. Move up to the single waterfall and push up against it and enter it. Then you will see a pool of water. Go up to the pool and throw in your boomerang. A fairy will show up and ask you if you threw it in. Answer truthfully and she will give you the upraded version of your boomerang. Do the same thing for your shield. You can also throw in your bottles and in return she'll give you bottles filled with magic potions.
