:Theme:

When some of most elite eventing horses were first stranded upon the island, they were devasted. Without their owners caring for them, they had to learn to fend for themselves, which was tough for the equines, after being pampered for all of their lifes by humans. Now, years later, the origional survivors have long since perished, yet their offspring lived on. And from having such supreme inheritance, the new generation were some of the most perfectly talented equus alive. They have to continue the legacy, and as trouble brews, they may suspect that their ancestors past may come back to harm them.

:Required RPG Experiance:

Basically, all role players are permitted to take part in this adventure, but there are some restrictions on what you can and can't do and there are a few requirements for the members of this game.

For those of you who are beginners, I expect you to use your own ideas and imagination, make posts that are for the most part grammarifically correct and put it plenty of details(one-liners are forbidden), and be eager to improve! Other wise, and this accounts for ALL members, you need to respect those with more experiance and be active, active, active!!! And for those of you that are way advanced, please give the beginners at least three chances to improve before requesting to have him or her banned, unless it's a serious offense to the rules.

:Joining:

When you begin you may join as either a mare or a stallion, no foals though. You can join a pregnant mare, wether or not you call upon Mother Nautre or decide the foals stats yourself is up to you! But one thing about joining the pregnant mare, if you do, you have to add the history of what had happened and a description of the father in the history.
Make sure to read all the rules and the history. Make sure to play by the plot and keep updated with the current events going on around you. Who knows? You may just one day become something great and be added onto Lansora's evergrowing history!
When posting post your:

Name
Age
Breed
Gender
Height
Color

You are required to make a post with your joining status. It will help the Alphas of the territory judge wether they think your worth their time and invitation or not. If you're not claimed in 3 days you will have to go to Herdless Realms. This applies to males and females. You wait there until you're either claimed or get your somehow receive your own territory

:Males:

Stallions are ages four and up; any males younger than that are colts. There is only allowed at maximum five stallions per herd, to have even that many is rare. Only the alpha stallion is allowed to claim mares, unless the beta guardian is given permission by the lead.

Colts are not allowed to breed, period, though a colt may favor another filly as more than just a friend. When colts become stallions they must be kicked out to prevent in-breeding.

:Females:

Like the males, 4 years and up are adults, anything below that is still the childhood. Mares can fight for positions amoung the herd, and those of higher ranks have a range power over the entire herd. Though if a position has not yet been filled, the alpha stallion has to choose a mare for this position before it can be challenged for. There is absolutely no self-designating yourself to a position!

Fillies are not allowed to willing breed, however, if the filly is 3 years of age she is liable to be forcebred by a stallion. She may fight it, but the stallion being an adult will always over-power her. Force bred fillies will become pregnant. Fillies are kicked out when they become mares to prevent in-breeding.

:Climate:

Make sure to occasionally check the Weather Report! It verifies what season it is, the temperature, and if breeding is allowed. Also check for the the status of your harem. The number that matches your terra's number is the report you need to check.

:Harems:

When claiming a territory you have to build the board yourself, this means you should have even a slight knowledge of HTML. If you want a territory but don't know anything about HTML, I'll have links to HTML help sites on the links page. If that doesn't help, go to the OOC board and ask for help, I will not be making boards for anyone because it's too time consuming. Sorry! In Lansora the only message boards I'd allow is the Boards 2 Go message boards, I will not accept anything else.

Once all the harems are claimed you'll have to challenge for one, I will not expand Lansora!

:Breeding:

Absolutely no graphic breeding! It disgusts me to see people writing those sick perverted breeding posts. If you ignore this rule and you will be banned without question! Mares and fillies of 3 years can be force bred by a stallion(not vise-versa).

In any breeding post you absolutely must put your horses joining stats, please put these in a great deal of description so I can make the baby's stats as realistic as possible! Also include the facts such as two talents your horse is good at and two he isn't(Example= Horse 1 is good at Jumping and Endurance but has bad agility and isn't good at finding sure-footing). After Breeding and recieving the stats for the foal the mare has to wait a week before the foal is born unless Mother Nature state's otherwise. Mares and Stallion's breed in their territory only, but a horse can force-breed anywhere.

:Challenging:

Both stallions and mares can fight. Stallions can challenge for mares and territories. Mares can challenge for positions. Both are allowed to challenge for death matches. Please keep death matches rare so that our population can grow!

If five days pass and your opponent still hasn't arrived, there is no absense post, and the beta hasn't taken up the challenge then you win by default. DO NOT POWERPLAY!!! If you do you'd automatically lose the fight. You will get one warning, after that I will ban you. Each horse gets five posts, after that the Fate Decider with decide the winner and the loser. The Challenging grounds will also be held in the territory.

:Extra:

An extra note, if you are automatically rude to a person in OOC you will be banned immediately for a week, if you do it again, than a month, and a third time results in perminant banning. Say some makes a bad post, don't instantly write something like, "You're STUPID! STUPID! STOOOOPID!" Its annoying and unnecessary. Calmly tell the person what they are doing wrong. It'd make this RPG better for Everyone!
