There is a very useful program known as Joy2Key. Joy2Key
allows you to reassign the input from a PC controller to pretty
much any key or mouse input you want. I.E. you can control your
mouse with a control pad, or use buttons for left and right
clicks, or use buttons for single-press copying and pasting, and
so on. For whatever reason, I can't seem to get to the website
anymore, but you can download the program itself here:
