Cows- A cow costs 6000G to buy, but the payback is well worth it. You can have up to 12 cows in the game, although it gets tough to take care of all of them sometimes. Be sure to feed and brush your cows everyday after youbuy them, because then when they become adults they will giv better milk, which in turn gives you more money. Also let them outside to graze in your grass field, because this will also make them happy. But NEVER let them out in the winter or in the rain. The sell prices of milk are as follows:

Chickens- A chicken costs 1,500G to buy, but you really only need buy one. After you buy the first chicken, take the eggs it gives and put one in the incubator. In a few days you will have a chick, and soon a chicken. Always remember to feed your chickns everyday, because if you miss a day the chickin will stop laying eggs for three days. You can have up to 12 chickens an the egg sells for:

Dog- On the first or second day of your farm life, Ellen will chase a do named Koro onto your farm. You will get to keep the dog, and name it anything you want. The dog doesn't cost any money to feed or anything,but bring it inside in bad weather. It also gets rid of moles in your field.


Horse- You get your horse at the crossroads on the first day of winter. Brush it everyday so it will grow up fast and will be able to help you harvest. How does it help you ask? Well let's say you got a couple of crops like a mile away from the shipping bin. Have your horse next to you by the crops. Pick up a crop and place it in his saddlebags. This automaticly puts the crops in the shipping bin. So basically, the horse is like a portable shipping bin when it's an adult.


P-Chan- P-Chan is a bird that is in Ellen's room in the general store. You can't own it but you may have to elp Ellen find it periodicaly throughout the game.
