Gyrus is the only game by Chemical X Games made by Luke.
So it all looks and sounds very wonderful, and it also plays very well. You
control a sleek 'battle sphere' (my words not Lukes) that has the simple to
understand, though in no way easy job of trying to kill as many flying robots,
mutant multiplying drones and general sphere-munching uglies as possible. There
are indeed many clever and expertly designed enemies and some expertly destructive
weaponry to blow them across the arena with. There are several levels, including
a nice training level, complete with detailed textures and 3D background. So,
it's simple proffessionlly made fun...with a pretentious enigmatic start bit.
