               Budokai Review

   Wed, December 17, 2002 - 9:46 PM EST

Ok, I am at the moment too lazy to right a big as in-depth review of Budokai. Now, I actually had the review for it, saved in a folder, which got deleted (somehow). The review was 2 full pages, not including screenshots. So I'm gonna post it right here, right now, shortened.

The Review for Dragonball Z: Budokai

Ok, here is a nice little chart (kind-of) I have made:

- If you like Dragonball Z games and fighting games = You will like it

- If you like Dragonball Z but not fighting games = You MAY like it

- If you don't like Dragonball Z but you like fighting games = You might like it for its fighting engine, but the

story, plot, and concept may confuse or irritate you.

- If you don't like Dragonball Z games and don't like fighting games = Why the hell are you reading this review

                                                                                                       then? Steer clear of Budokai

I am a semi-Dragonball Z fan and a fighting genre fan, therefore I like this game. Everything from the show is nicely integrated into the game. You get the whole story from the Saiyan to the Cell Games Saga via cutscenes, it even gives you alternate endings. The ability to transform is cool, the attacks are straight from the show. Personally, I think the graphics look great, the screenshots seem a bit too fuzzy. Plus it has a lot of Replay Value but may get old after awhile, like if you collect all the capsules, dragonballs, etc.  But that will take awhile anyways.

Overall:   8.9        (note: this is a biased review because I am a fan of dbz)

Also, I have added a new copyright thingy at the bottom, check it out silly buns!

And after Christmas, you can bet your fat ass that this site will be alive and kicking again. Think of it as giving a sick old man 43 pills of viagra and stick him in front of a local strip club......that's how alive..

Just got my Xbox

I just got my Xbox and here is my initial reaction. The Controller S defiantly is better then the old Xbox controller but the start buttons are a little out of the way. I'm starting to get used to it but it will take some time. Alright as for the packaged games. Jetsetradiofuture(JSRF) is the only game in that pack worth two shits. I played a little of Sega GT and it really didn't appeal to me at all. I'm working my way through JSRF though and I am enjoying it. I also purchased Splinter Cell and that game is worth every dollar that I paid for it. Its really fun, this is my first Stealth game, I never played Metal Gear Solid or any of those but I am really enjoying this one. Anyway time to play some more. Luis over and out!

Hmm, seems to have been awhile from our last update, oh well, I have played Budokai over and over and over again. Now I feel I have gotten far enough to review it. So expect a review up this weekend. Also, expect more gaps in updates, maybe like a 2 or 3 day gap, seeing as though "other" things seem time consuming. And no, I'm not talking about shaving off a dogs tail, jamming it up its own ass, pulling it back out, then eating it, then pouring tobassco sauce in your own eyes while fingering the dog's new orifice screaming "If I were a wall street executive, these pants would fit nicely!"....no no, this it not the case at all. Just other things.
