The shot in the air. You can feel how solid the shot is because the ball has realistic weight and mass. The path and height is the same as a real golf ball depending on the club or iron used.

The Portable Golf Warmup unit, pictured to the left,  is made with an exclusively replicated golf ball with just slightly less mass weight than a real golf ball.  It has that great "crack" sound when struck.  The authentic look and function of the ball comes as close as one can to striking a ball during play.  The short bungy cord recoil attached to a durable nylon cord makes for an interesting and fun way to attain immediate feedback to shots.

Well struck shots will make the ball recoil back safely away from the golfer toward the oposite side of the turf mat. Setting the ball on the turf mat or on the tee with the cord free out to the side will prevent chopping up ground areas.

After 12-20 times making good connection one will notice how loosened up they are and more ready to play.

P.G.A. Head Professional Brad M. Calaway of Wisconsin considers this warm-up ball very effective for loosening up before playing a round, practicing at home, or just hitting for fun as the warmup ball can be hit toward targets. The recoil of the ball back behind the turf mat actually gives immediate feedback as to how solid a shot was hit. A solid shot struck with a lofted iron will not send the ball as far back behind the turf mat as a well struck wood shot, but a tempo is created for the golfer as a pattern is established with many hits.
