Raiden is the  Elder God of thunder. His brother Shal Kahn is the king of Out-World . In case you didn't know Elder Gods are Immortal Entienys that sort of watch over the Realms: Earth Realm, Out-World, and  the Underworld., and the Mortal Kombat Tournaments. Raiden Gave up his immortality to help save earth realm yet again from evil .
