***Room Owners Welcome***

Yes it is me, Tall Mountain Dreamer, the room owner but only in name. The room of FUN, GAMES and More belongs to each and everyone of us, from around the world that goes there. Whether a first time visitor or a long time patron it matters not. Everyone is important to us as we are a family and the atmosphere we provide in the room is one that can be shared by individuals from around the world, men, women, and children alike and of all ages. The games that we play in the room are meant for the entertainment of those that have and will come to our room. I had a dream a few months back and being told by some people who are special to me, "Build it they will come," I took a chance. Well this room of friends is the rewarding results of a lot of hardwork, time, dedication and perseverance. A room full of great people ALL doing their part to make it a place where people want to come to and enjoy a good time. The administrators that control the room (past, present, and future) should all be commended for the relentless and long hours that they have given of themselves to make the room go. The patrons that have, do, and will come to the room are ones of the highest standards and are what make the room what it is. From the friendship, pleasantness, consideration, and caring that each show down to the competitiveness of each we are all able to smile. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone that comes to the room for all that you bring to our family and to welcome you all that come, have come and will come. So come in and have a seat and enjoy the friendship, make new friends and have plenty of fun.

***Games Listing and Descriptions***

I would like to take this opportunity to explain some of the games that we have to offer in this great room that we have. We do offer a vast variety of games and hopefully found a few for everyone that comes in. As you will see in our room we do have a lot of patrons and this does cause LAG which means that what you see on your screen is not always what the administrator sees on theirs. At times the screen will move rather quickly and others times it stops. Remember as you play that this is only for fun and if you name is overlooked then I will apologize now. The administrators and myself do the best that we can and do not intentionally overlook anyone. So unless there is a strong need to see or hear your name bear with us please.

NOTES-----Names will always be first and last unless otherwise stated-----Numbers zero-ten typed out in word format anything over 10 may be in numerical format-----no abbreviations-----spelling does not count.

****REMEMBER STRICTLY -G- RATED RESPONSES IN ALL GAMES***. If you wouldn't want to have to explain to a child what it meant on any word by itself then use an alternate and acceptable word. Many kids are with their parents or around them and in many games the answers are read aloud. So we ask for your tolerance and participation in keeping this room a place where families can play and enjoy the games.

Password----- A game where single word clues are given and putting them together you try and guess the word that is being described. No proper nouns are used and words are to be kept common words. The game is played to the score of 15 or the game administrators discretion.

Trivia----- A game that will test your general knowledge from around the world. Questions will be asked in all fields and points will be awarded to those that show first on the administrators screen. In this game remember one thing---whether right or wrong information the quizzers answer this the final answer as that is all they have to go by. The point value in this game is 30 or up to the discretion of the game administrator. There are many variations of this game.

Hangman Trivia-----As is the game above but with the addition with an unknown word in the banner. The person getting the trivia question answer correct first gets to choose a letter. If the letter is in the word a point is awarded everytime it is used. The person guessing a correct letter then gets to solve the word for three additional points. There are no clues to the word afforded. This game goes to 30 or discretion of the game administrator.

Speed Trivia-----A game that is fast, furious and fun. Trivia questions are asked fast and furious and your task is to keep up and have fun. The game last for about 10 minutes normally depending on the cooperation of Paltalk. The game goes to 30 or the discretion of the game administrator. So come and test your speed typing abilities against the rest of the room.

Tag Team Trivia A game where a question is asked and each person gets only ONE response. THe first team with correct answer gets points for that team until a person from other team stops the run. Remember ONE answer per person so be very careful and don't waste it. Point value goes to 50 or discretion of game administrator.

Tongue Twisters----- A game that uses a letter of the alphabet between 5-8 times (ie 5-T's or 8 F's). The object of this is to take the letter as the first of each word for the specified number of times and tongue tie the administrator. It is a game of fun and trying to catch the administrators tongue. The game goes to 5 and statements are read aloud by the administrator as fast as possible. The room will then vote on the best one and that person will then give the letter and number.

Tribond----- A game where three things are named and the task is to figure out the common bond between all of them. The score goes to 25 or the discretion of th e game administrator.

Taboo----- A game where clues are given to words or phrases. The clues go in value from 5 to 1 and object is to guess the word or phrase in the least amount of clues as possible. Game goes to 75 or the discretion of the game administrator.

Name That Tune/Theme----- A game that will surely stretch, enhance and challenge your musical knowledge. Object of the game is to listen to a short clip of music and try and be the first to answer with title. All types and forms of music will be heard and even laughs will be had so give it a try. The game goes to 30 or the discretion of the administrator and remember one thing---the song title is at the discretion of the administrators and they do the best they can.

Catch Phrase----- A game where famous quotations or sayings are partially given and it is the gamers job to fill in and successfully complete the rest of it. Some common ones will be heard and some others that will test your resolve will be given. Some phrases will bring back reminiscing of times past when mom or dad would quote a saying to you so come on and give it a try. Game goes to 30 or discretion of the game administrator.

You Said It----- A word (5-8 letters)is put in the banner of which you are to take the letters in their sequence and make a sentence or phrase out of them. Your answers can be fun, serious, or incomplete sentences it does not matter. After all entries are in or after a reasonable amount of time a vote is taken by the room as to who was the best. That person then gets to give a word. Five words are used to complete game or the discretion of the administrator.

Jeopardy----- Yes!!!!!!!! It is here, Jeopardy on the computer with a few minor alterations. A game where the administrator will read answers and all you have to do is give the correct answer. There are three parts as in the game show, Single, Double and Final Jeopardy. A lot of world wide knowledge is used to answer in this game, so come in and try and get some points for your team. Single jeopardy the scoring in sequence is 1-5, in Double Jeopardy it is 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and Final Jeopardy is a double of team score for the person getting the correct answer.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire----- A game where questions are read in groups of ten, increasing in toughness as well as points from 1-10. A wide variety of topics are covered. Score goes to 200 or discretion of the game administrators.

Smart Mouth----- A game where two letters are given and you must come up with a real word that has the first at the beginning and the second as the ending letter. No proper nouns are allowed and words must be 6 or more letters long. The person with the first word gets to select the next two letters or the administrator may use their own letters. The game goes to 20 or the discretion of the game administrator.

20 Questions-----This is a Who Am I, What Am I, Where Am I trivia game. Twenty clues will be given to determine your answer. Of course you can guess before the 20 questions are asked. Game goes to 20 or the discretion of the game administrator.

Oodles----- A game that is letter based. A letter will be in the banner and statements will be read using that letter as the base for the answer that best matches it. Be the first with a correct answer and get a point for your team. Each letter will have ten statements before change. A toss up question will be in between each letter. Mystery score is used as you will only see a score change with every change of letter. If two teams are close at the end the game will be decided with CORRECT SPELLING. Game goes to 40 or discretion of the game administrator.

Alphabet Pie----- A game in which three subjects are placed in the banner, the gamers are given a letter and that letter is to the the first letter of something that matches the catagories in the order that they appear. Acceptable answers are up to the knowledge of the game administrator. Game goes to 15 or discretion of the game administrator.

Madgabs----- A game of words that are placed together, none relating, and when read faster and faster they sound like a real saying. Type the saying or answer as fast as you can, be first and get a point for your team. Game goes to 15 or discretion of the game administrator.

Its In The Name-----These are Movie Titles which are replaced with alternate words meaning the same thing and is your clue to the real title. Get the title first and correct and you score a point for your team. Game goes to 20 or the discretion of the game administrator.

Boggle----- A game of scrambled letters placed in the banner (5-8 Letters). Your job is to unscramble them as fast as possible and spell the word that the game administrator has. Be careful as sometimes the letters may spell more then one word. CORRECT spelling is a must in this game as all the letters are given to you. Game goes to 10 points of discretion of the game administrator.

Scattegories----- A game where a leter is given and then a catagory and your job is to come up with a word that begins with that letter in that catagory. The first team to get three different answers will get a point for their team. The game goes to 15 or discretion of the game administrator.

Outburst-----In this game there are 10 possible answers for each catagory. The answer is determined by a gamer chosing a number between 1 and 10. The reader then gives the catagory. You can answer as many times as you want until the correct answer is given. Game goes to 25 or the discretion of the game administrator.

Match Game---Yes it is here, MATCHGAME meets the computer, hosted by none other then MATCH GAME fan. So if you thought you liked the show enjoy this and if never played give it a try. Different miniature games are played at the beginning of each round. The winner of the game gets a MATCH GAME question where they can earn as many as three points for their team with the help of their teammates. The first team to score ten points wins the game.

Super Match Game---Same as above with a few twists and turns. Score goes to 20 instead of ten, and the winner of the match game questions get to determine of they want to wager their answer for number one for five points or stop and take three points, BUT if they are wrong the other team gets three points awarded.

Lingo-----Object of the game is to guess a five-letter word in the banner. The first letter will be shown and an extra letter will appear in the word after every few seconds until someone guesses the word correctly. Points are awarded depending on how many blanks remained in the word once someone spells the word correctly. Spelling DOES count in this game! The game plays to 50 points."

Hugger Mugger-----It is a series of games rolled into one like word scramble, definition, spelling bee, completing a phrase or quote, spelling three words on one line with different instructions (rhyming words, beginning or ending with specific letters, etc.), etc. The game plays to 30 points."

Mystery Square---A trivia game that is filled with twists and surprises. A real must see and enjoyable form of gamesmanship. A toss up trivia question is asked and person who answers question correctly first gets to pick a letter and number from the overhead banner. Game leader will then tell the person what the mystery is they picked and the game will be adjusted accordingly. Game goes until all letters and numbers are used.

Music Mystery Square---Same as above with the lone exception that instead of questions being asked songs will be used and the players need to guess the title of the songs to pick a mystery square.

The following poem was written by one of the admin for our one year anniversary bash. Thank you justmeandering for the wonderful tribute.

A Tall Dream.
It’s been one year, stand up and cheer,
Lets celebrate today.
Fun Games and More, lets shout let’s roar,
We really have kicked Boutaaaaaaaa!

Tall had a dream, and we all came,
In search of, what we found here.
Such Notable Zones, and Awesome minds,
And the friendships that abound here!

Yes, we all came from around the world,
And found friendly competition,
In a caring, family atmosphere;
This dream has reached fruition!

We play Taboo, and Outburst too,
U Said It, and Name That Tune.
We have Oodles of fun, and when said and done,
We’re Paltalks Best gaming room.

We’re all Match Game fans; we ready our hands,
In anxious anticipation,
If our answers are right, we are treated each night,
With loud tintinnabulation.

A room for all ages, whether dummies or sages,
There is fun to be had by all.
And if we are lucky, we think it’s quite ducky,
To hear a story, or poem by Tall!

You may occasionally see a camel or two,
Meandering around, not to mention,
Buckets and lawn-blobs will sometimes appear,
Vying for your attention.

Pay them their just do, it’s all you can do,
When they wander in here to play
Don’t try to berate them or intimidate them
Just ignore them, and they’ll go away.

We have all blossomed and bloomed,
In the warmth of this room.
We have even embraced the Lag here.
The Admen are all one of a kind,
And the Roomies the best we could bag here.

Yes, it’s been a year, that’s why we’re all here
, To sing, and shout Hip-Hip Hooray!!!!!!!

Over the days of much hard work
I have seen many come and go
Of all that have entered into my world
Many great people I have gotten to know
Watching as each new one enters
And into our family they quickly grow

Games bring laughs and times of joy
Kind words bring warmth to the heart
With a welcome from all that are here
To a stranger a friendship will start
The comfort for them will surely build
And from our family they will never depart

The room is what each one of you brings
Accents, laughs, love and caring all
The comfort we use to console those in hard times
When anguish in their lives does call
The ear one lends when a person talks
Places this room high above them all

I have animals, vegetables. minerals and such
Names that great minds have conjured
FLowers, plants, nature and stories
Of your minds I have constantly wondered
Fruits, meats and other edible treats
Why these? I have often pondered

I had an idea many days long past
A room of fun and warmth I wanted to have
Build it they would come, I was told
A true friend's encouragement to me gave
Hours were spent and ideas were tried
From those infant days look what we now have

This room is strong and grows each day
I sit back relaxing, my work is now done
As I watch people come in and stay to play
Knowing their time there will be full of fun
Questions are asked and songs are played
Until the game is over mattering not who won

The thanks spoken for the room as it stands
Do not give to me in any special way
As it is not me that makes this room what it is
It is all of you in your very own special way
All of you that come and spend time with us
And bring joy to us each and every day

Now from the warmth I feel in my heart
And the friendship towards each that I feel
I want to thank you one and all that come
For making my long ago dream become real
Each a memory in my mind you have become
A lasting one inside of me, you I seal

One day will come when our paths will part
And each our own way will silently go
The memories that are built of the fun times here
Fondness of these times will grow
If passing we should once again meet
