Andy Goram - Always a reliable goalkeeper who was signed from Oldham Athletic in 1987. Goram played 138       games for Hibernian, and was famed for being one of the only goalkeepers to actually score a goal for Hibernian.

Eric Schaedler - Nicknamed 'Shades' by the Hibee faithful, Eric is foundly remembered as on the greatest defenders to have played in the green and white. Schaedler played 299 games for Hibs during his two spells at the club in the 80's.

John Brownlie - Signed from tiny Pumpherston in the late 60's, Brownlie went on to play 211 games for Hibernian.

Pat Stanton - Stanton is probably known by most Hibs supporters as the greatest Hibs player of all time. Captain in the famous 'Turnbull's Tornadoes' of the 70's, Stanton is known simply as 'God' to many Hibs fans.

Franck Sauzee - The most recent of Hibs greatest men. Will certainly be known by most of the younger Hibs fans as without a doubt the best player of the 90's and early 2000's for Hibs. 'Le God' made 77 appearances for Hibs including 3 seasons as the inspirational captain.

Willie Ormond - The first of the Famous Five to be included in the greatest XI. Willie spent an amazing 15 years at Hibs where he made335 appearances and contributing with 147 goals.

Eddie Turnbull - Turnbull was known as both a very successful captain and manager for Hibs during his career. Eddie was the captain of the 'Famous Five' and was also the manager when Hibs trounced Hearts on 1st January 1973 7-0. This game has always been known as the 'greatest game in history' for any Hibernian fan.

 Gordon Smith -Gordon Smith was possibly the biggest star of Hibernian's Famous Five line-up. Smith was your classic winner who would regularly set-up the goals for Bobby Johnstone and Lawrie Reilly, while also chipping in with a few himself.

Bobby Johnstone -Bobby Johnstone, like Joe Baker was another who was a prolific goal-scorer in his time at Hibs. Bobby led the line along side Lawrie Reilly in the Famous Five very successfully by scoring 105 goals in just under 200 games for Hibernian.

Joe Baker - The most prolific goalscorers in the history of Hibernian Football Club. Joe Baker had a fantastic record for Hibs, one which can safely give him the title of their greatest striker of all time. Baker played a total of 137 games for Hibs and scoring and scoring an amazing 114 goals.

Lawrie Reilly - Lawrie Reilly was a player who is still idolised all around Easter Road. Reilly was one of his generations great professionals for both Hibs and Scotland, whom he represented often. Reilly was a terror to all defences in the late 1940's and early 1950's.
