Cthulhu in the Necronomicon

Based on material from "Introduction" to Dreams from R'lyeh by Lin Carter,
"The House on Curwen Street" by August Derleth, The Encyclopedia Cthulhiana by Daniel Harms,
and "Books of the Cthulhu Mythos" in the Call of Cthulhu 5th Edition Rulebook by Keith Herber and Kevin A. Ross.

This manuscript was intended to be Professor Laban Shrewsbury's sequel to An Investigation into the Myth-Patterns of Latter-Day Primitives with Especial Reference to the R'lyeh Text. Begun in 1915 and never completed due to Shrewsbury's disappearance, the hand-written notes were published in 1938.

The book compares myth systems from around the world with those outlined in the Necronomicon and the R'lyeh Text. It also suggests pitting Cthulhu against Hastur.

Game statistics for the manuscript appear in "Books of the Cthulhu Mythos" in the Call of Cthulhu 5th Edition Rulebook.
