Paper Mario Bosses:

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD! Don't look if you don't want the bosses in Paper Mario spoiled for you!(The first Bowser fight is not included because it's impossible to win)

Jr. Troopa(1):
Hit Points- 5
Location- Goomba Village Playground
Attack Power- 1 for normal attack, 2 for charging attack
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 20
Guide:
Since this is the first battle you fight, Goompa will explain everything you need to know to you. If you jump or hammer him every turn, then you will win. Don't worry about Jr. Troopa, he is easy to defeat.

Red and Blue Goomba:
Hit Points: Red Goomba- 7 Blue Goomba- 6
Location- Goomba Road
Attack Power: Red Goomba- 1 Blue Goomba- 1
Defense Power: Red Goomba- 0 Blue Goomba- 0
Star Points: 10 for Red, 10 for Blue
Guide:
Go after Blue with Mario's Power Jump, and Goombario can go after Red with his headbonk attack after he has finished tattling. After Mario Power Jumps two times on Blue, blue should be defeated. Focus all of your attacks on Red and you will win fairly soon.

Goomba King, Red and Blue Goomba:
Hit Points: Goomba King- 10 Red Goomba- 2 Blue Goomba- 2 Goomnut Tree- 0
Location- Goomba King's Fortress
Attack Power: King- 1 Red- 1 Blue-1 Tree- 3
Defense Power: King- 0 Red- 0 Blue- 0 Tree- 0
Star Points: King- 26 Red- 2 Blue- 2
Guide:
If you hit the Goomnut Tree while in this battle, then it will deal estimately 3 damage to the king, but first, focus all of your attacks on Red and Blue Goomba. Once they are gone, hit the Goomnut Tree to deal damage to the King. While the King may use it on you earlier, ignore this as it hardly does any damage. This should be an easy battle from now on in.

Magikoopa:
Hit Points- 8
Location- Shooting Star Summit Path
Attack Power- 3
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 15
Guide:
Hit the Magikoopa once to knock him off his broom so he will be easier to fight. As always, tattle first and then fight. Since you just got the Lucky Star, this is your first real battle to try it out. You can defend his magic attack and deal extra damage to him if you practice enough. This is really just a test for you to practice Timed hits and defends.

Bowser???:
Hit Points- 10
Location- Koopa Bros. Fortress
Attack Power- 1
Defense Power- 1
Guide:
The actual Bowser you are fighting is a robot controlled by the Koopa Bros.. Since it has 1 defense power, attack it with the Hammer and Kooper's shell attack or Bombette's body slam. Don't waste your FP battling this machine, save it for the next battle coming up. Before you defeat it, heal as much HP as needed. After about 5 turns attacking and defending yourself from this machnine, you should be able defeat it, sending the Koopa Bros. out of it and into battle with you. No, it's not in Paper Bowser style.

Koopa Bros.:
Hit Points: Each Koopa has 5
Location- Koopa Bros. Fortress
Attack Power: Each Koopa has 1
Defense Power: Each Koopa has 1
Star Points: 8 for each Koopa
Guide:
Tattling each Koopa gives you special dialogue, so if you want to do so then you're welcome to. Anyways, use the same tactics as you did before with Bowser???. Attack with your Hammer and Kooper's shell or Bombette's body slam. After one hit, they will almost fall over, and after another hit, they will topple over onto the ground. As Goombario mentions, fight them like they were normal Koopas. When they are toppled over, focus all of your atttacks on one of the Koopas. If you defeat one of them on this turn then their spinning attack will do three damage instead of four. Once you repeat the same procedure as said above, then you should be able to win the battle. Say hello to Eldstar's Refresh power!

Jr. Troopa(2):
Hit Points- 15
Location- Pleasent Path
Attack Power- 2
Defense Power- 1
Star Points- 20
Guide:
Even though it may seem like he really is tough this time, he isn't if you use the right tactics. His attack can easily be defended, which takes away 1 of his attack power. When he's in his egg, he has one defense, so use the Power Jump and Bomb abilities to win this fight very quickly. If you don't have the FP, then use the Hammer and Kooper or Bombette's regular attack. After many turns, he will be defeated.

Chan:
Hit Points- 15
Location- Toad Town Dojo
Attack Power- 2
Defense Power- 2
Item- First-Degree Card
Guide:
Chan is very easy, considering he's the first person you fight in the dojo. If you have Mario jump on him for every turn he receives and use powerful Partner attacks, then this fight will be a breeze. If you use Goombario instead, then it will last a lot longer than if you use Bombette's Bomb attack, but it really is your decision.

Lee:
Hit Points- 20
Location- Toad Town Dojo
Attack Power: Himself- 5 Goombario- 1(x2) Kooper- 2 Bombette- 2
Defense Power: Himself- 0 Goombario- 0 Kooper- 1 Bombette- 0
Item- Second-Degree Card
Guide:
He may switch to one of your partners during the fight, making it a lot easier. While he himself has 5 attack power and your partners have less, I don't see why he bothers to change his form. If he's Goombario or Bombette, he'll do either 1 or 0 damage if you defend, 2 if you don't. If he's Kooper, just think of him as a faster Koopa Troopa.

Master:
Hit Points- 50
Location- Toad Town Dojo
Attack Power- 6
Defense Power- 0
Item- Third-Degree Card
Guide:
If you're good enough and you are a high enough level, then the Master should be hard, but beatable. Attack him with Bombette's bomb ability and Mario's Power Bounce or Jump ability. Bring along recipes such as a Hot Shroom to make this battle much easier. If you have the Close Call badge equipped, then it may save you when you are in a dangerous situation. Bring along a lot of healing items and this battle should be a snap, unless you're not a SUPER button masher, then it may prove to be a greater challenge.

Blooper:
Hit Points- 30
Location- Toad Town Tunnel
Attack Power- 3
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 20
Guide:
Attack this blooper with the badge called "Power Bounce" and Goombario's Heabonk ability. If you are skilled at Timed Attacks, then you sould win fairly soon. If not, then use the "Power Jump" badge instead. The Bloopers jump attack is farily easy to dodge, but it's ink attack may prove to be a challenge. Either way you do this, this battle shouldn't be really hard, just challenging.

Buzzar:
Hit Points- 40
Location- Mt. Rugged
Attack Power: 2 with spike attack, 3 with whirlwind and normal attack, and 4 with claw attack
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 15
Guide:
If you don't want to fight Buzzer, then answer it's question with "Luigi". "Princess Peach" and "Mario" will make you go into battle. Use the same tactics with Mario as you did with the Blooper, but, instead of using Goombario, use Parakarry's shell shot. The only attacks you should worry about are it's whirlwind and it's claw attack. It's whirlwind attack will deal you and your partner a bit of damage, depending on how fast of a button masher you are. It's claw attack will send you up into the air, and if the pointer landson green, you're fine, but if it lands on blue, you get dealt 4 damage. It's sort of like running away but less effective.

Tutankoopa:
Hit Points- 30
Location- Dry-Dry Ruins
Attack Power: 3 for shell attack, or 2 for magic attack
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 30
Guide:
He will either summon a chomp, attack you with a shell, or summon magic to attack you. The Chomp guide is listed in the enemies section, so check there if you need help with it! His shell attack is no biggie, but his magic attack will hurt you partner and injure him/her for 2 turns. Occasionally, his magic attack will hit himself and he will be knocked out for 2 turns. He is a rather easy chapter boss battle to defeat. Mamar now joins you!

Electro-Blooper:
Hit Points- 50
Location- Toad Town Tunnels
Attack Power: 4 for normal attack and ink attack, 6 when charged up
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 21
Guide:
Even though it may seem like the Blooper has a lot of HP, it really is an easy boss. When he is charging up, attack him with Hammer Throw or Parakarry's Shell Shot to stop the Blooper from becoming more powerful. If you use the same moves you used for the first Blooper fight, then you should be able to win.

Jr. Troopa(3):
Hit Points- 6
Location- Forever Forest
Attack Power- 5
Defense Power- 1
Star Points- 22
Guide:
This time he's flying, but he still is a pretty easy boss to beat. If you can deal 10 damage each turn, then Jr. Troopa will fall in 5 turns, which is a pretty fast time. Use jump attacks since hammer attacks will not work against him. Use Star Storm if you have it.

Tubba's Heart:
Hit Points- 50
Location- Windy Mill
Attack Power: 2 for regular attack, 6 for other attack, and 12 for powered up attack
Defense Power- 0
Guide:
Even though it may seem like a hard battle, you get another easy chapter boss battle. To avoid his powered up attack, use Bow's Outta Sight move when he says he's about to attack you with a super attack. Tubba's Heart will retreat when you deal it 45 or more damage, so you won't have to completely finish it off.

Tubba Blubba:
Hit Points- 10
Location- Gusty Gulch
Attack Power: 4 for normal attack, 6 for special attack
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 30
Guide:
When Tubba Blubba and his heart reunite, they are not invicible, and therefore Tubba Blubba is an easy battle to do. After a Power Smash or Jump and a party member's special attack, you should defeat Tubba Blubba. Skolar is free!

Anti Guy:
Hit Points- 50
Location- Shy Guy's Toy Box Blue Station
Attack Power: 10 for normal attack, 12 for acrobat attack
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 15
Guide:
Even though Anti Guy may seem to be tough, if you have a lot of healing items and you're to the max with both HP and FP, then you should be able to beat him quite easily. If you use Parakarry or Bombette while they're upgraded and Mario's Power Jump or Power Smash attack can do the job quite well. Anti Guy should be finished quite soon. Pick up the Power Plus badge!

Big Lantern Ghost:
Hit Points- 40
Location- Shy Guy's Toy Box Red Station
Attack Power: 5 for pounding attack, and 5 for the lightning attack. 2 to the partner and 5 to Mario.
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 15
Guide:
Hit his lantern 2 times to be able to see the Big Lantern Ghost. Attack with a strong partner's attack and Mario's attack. I used Goombario's Headbonk on the lantern and then Mario's Power Jump attack on the ghost. If the ghost ever uses his shock attack, then it will do 5 damage to Mario and 2 damage to his partner.

General Guy:
Hit Points: General Guy's Tank- 30 Bulb- 8
Location- Shy Guy's Toy Box Red Station
Attack Power: 4 for bomb attack, 5 for lightning attack(2 to your partner)
Defense Power- 2
Star Points- 33
Guide:
Attack the bulb first. After about 8 points of damage, it will explode, and General Guy won't be able to use his lightning attack again. Attack the tank with Watt's Electro Dash and Mario's hammer. Eventually, you should win the battle. This battle can be hard if you have hardly any HP, but it's about medium difficulty in the most. Now you get Muskular!

Fuzzipede:
Hit Points- 20
Location- Big Whale's Belly
Attack Power- 3
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 15
Guide:
Keep Watt out because if you ever change your party member, then the screen will become dark. The Fuzzipede should be no trouble at all.

Jr. Troopa(4):
Hit Points- 40, but it's reduced to 20
Location- Toad Town Dock
Attack Power- 6
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 23
Guide:
Since Jr. Troopa swam quite a bit, his HP is reduced by half. He also added a spike onto his head, so you can't jump on him now. Use Star Storm, Hammer Throw, Watt's Electro Dash and any other attack items or Partner's abilities you have that might work on him. By the way, he is still a very easy boss to battle.

Super Blooper:
Hit Points- 70
Location- Toad Town Tunnels
Attack Power- 5 for normal attack and ink attack, and 10 for charged up attack.
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 26
Guide:
Super Bloopers can also hatch out 2 Blooper Babys at once, but other than that the Super Blooper is just like a powered up Blooper. Use the same tactics as you did with the other bloopers and you should win quite quickly.

Lava Piranha:
Hit Points- 40
Location- Mt. Lavalava
Attack Power- 5
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 15
Guide:
Keep in mind that healing items will be very helpful in this fight, as the Lava Piranha and it's buds can deal 13 damage at the most to you in one turn. Destroy it's buds first, and then concentrate on the Lava Piranha. After a lot of attacks have been dealt to the Lava Piranha, you shall emerge victorious.

Lava Piranha 2- All over again!:
Hit Points- 40
Location- Mt. Lavalava
Attack Power- 5 and up
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 15
Guide:
You thought it was over......... BUT IT'S NOT! This time the Lava Piranha will be stronger and on fire. The buds may also make Petit Piranhas, take my advice and use Star Storm when this happens. SAVE YOUR STAR ENERGY! Anyways, after you beat this battle say hello to Misstar!

Kent C. Koopa:
Hit Points- 70
Location- Pleasent Path
Attack Power- 10 for squishing attack and 3 for shell attack.
Defense Power- 6
Star Points- 20
Guide:
Tell him you want to fight 2 times in a row. To most people, this guy is tough, but I find him easy to defeat. Using the Lullaby trick will make this fight a breeze, and that's what I did. If you want a challenge, don't even use the Lullaby trick. Anyways, have Goombario accompany you for the first bit. After you have Headbonked him twice and he falls over, have Mario use Lullaby, hopefully it will work. Once he's asleep he will be knocked out on the groud for about 3 turns, leaving you to cause MAJOR damage to him. Use Watt noe with her Electro Dash and have Mario use his strongest hammer attack. Kent C. Koopa should be defeated in a short while. Repeat this trick whenever necessary.

Lakilester(Spike):
Hit Points- 50
Location- Flower Fields
Attack Power- 4
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 11
Guide:
He isn't much of a challenge. Just use your regular jump and any partners attack that will work against him. Use the occasional Power Jump, but not too often. After 6 or so turns, he should be defeated. He is rather easy to defeat. After a bit of chitchat, he now becomes your partner!

The Master(2):
Hit Points- 75
Location- Toad Town Dojo
Attack Power- 8 for normal attack and 6 times 2 for uppercut attack.
Defense Power- 0
Item- Fourth-Degree Card
Guide:
With the Ultra Hammer and/or Jump, he shouldn't be all that hard. He may use an occasional uppercut, but just use Mega Smash and Multibonk against him. Other tactics work as well. After a bit of turns, he should be defeated. If you're a high enough level, that is.

The Master(3):
Hit Points- 99
Location- Toad Town Dojo
Attack Power- 10 for normal attack and 6 times 2 for uppercut attack.
Defense Power- 1
Item- Diploma
Guide:
He is the hardest of them all. To make this battle a lot easier, equip the Zap Tap badge, All or Nothing badge, and both Power Plus badges. Use Mega Smash and strong party members attacks to deal damage. Power bounce and Multibonk are not good in this battle because of his added defense. Zap Tap will get rid of his two uppercuts, reducing it to only 1. After a lot of turns, you'll have beaten the Dojo!

Huff N. Puff:
Hit Points- 60
Location- Cloudy Climb
Attack Power- 5 for normal attack, 7 for blowing attack, and 12 for thunder attack.
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 31
Guide:
Since everytime you attack him, clouds blow out of his mouth, which he can use to heal himself the damage you just caused to him, here's a good strategy to use. Have Mario Power Bounce/Jump on him(whatever does a lot of damage) and then have Lakilester out. Have him use Spiny Surge while only charging it by one push. If done right, Huff N. Puff should take 1 damage, the Tuff Puffs will be defeated, and only 1 cloud will fly out of his mouth. Smart, eh? Whenever he uses his blowing attack, mash the A buttons, and whenever he starts to turn red, have Bow use Outta Sight. Klevar should soon be set free!

Jr. Troopa(5):
Hit Points- 50
Location- Pathway from Shiver City
Attack Power- 8
Defense Power- 1
Star Points- 23
Guide:
Wow, he is really starting to become a pest! Anyways, this battle should be really easy, as usual. He got rid of his wings and his spike and now he's learned some magic. The funny thing is, the magic is way easier to defeat than the spikes were. He should be down and frozen in no time!

Monster:
Hit Points- 20
Location- Pathway to Starborn Valley
Attack Power- 1(I'm not kidding!)
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 13
Guide:
He only has 1 attack power, isn't he so hard. Just attack him with whatever you've got, since you're right by a Toad House. 13 whole star points seems a bit too much for this joker.

Crystal King:
Hit Points- 70
Location- The Crystal Palace
Attack Power- 4 for bit spit, 6 for freezing attack, and 8 for dividing attack.
Defense Power- 2
Star Points- 42
Guide:
For the final chapter boss before Bowser, he poses as hard, but easy at times. All remaining bits will be sucked up by the King and thrown at you for 4 attack power each. He will freeze Mario quite easily, and when he is at about 30 HP, he will divide into 3 different crystal kings. Use attack all attacks to find out which King is real. He also may heal 20 HP, which is quite an annoyance, but he still won't be too much of a nuisance. Say hello to Kalmar, the last star spirit!

Anti Guy Units:
Hit Points- 50 each
Location- Bowser's Castle
Attack Power- 10 for normal attack, 12 for acrobatic attack.
Defense Power- 0
Star Points- 10 each
Guide:
You don't have to fight these guys if you don't want to. You only can fight these guys by getting 3 wrong answers on the quiz in Bowser's Castle. Anyways, use Time Out to make this battle much easier. Use Mega Smash and Bow's Fan Smack to deal 20 damage to one of these guys eac turn(fully charged up). If you run out of FP items and FP, attack like normal. If you run out of Star Energy, then that's bad.

Jr. Troopa(6):
Hit Points- 60
Location- Bowser's Castle
Attack Power- 8
Defense Power- 2
Star Points- 25
Guide:
He'll use all 3 forms of himself, normal, spike top with wings, and his magic form. He uses the same attacks with each, and he changes once you do enough damage to him. When in his magic form, he can also heal 10 HP to himself. Other than that, he is still really easy to defeat.

Bowser(2):
Hit Points- 50
Location- Princess Peach's Castle
Attack Power- 6 for stamp/nail attack, 8 for fire breath, 4 damage to Mario and 3 damage to his partner with his wave attack.
Defense Power- 1
Star Points- 38
Guide:
This is just a warm up for the next battle that takes place. His nail attack may poison as well. When he uses his shockwave attack, your partner will almost always get injured, so be careful. He may also heal 20 HP with the Star Rod, hopefull he won't always heal, because it becomes a major annoyance if he does. Also, always use the Star Beam to get rid of his invicibility whenever he uses it.

Bowser(3)- Part 1:
Hit Points- 99
Location- Princess Peach's Castle Top Arena
Attack Power- 8 for stamp/nail attack, 10 for fire breath, 6 damage to Mario and 3 to his partner with his wave attack, 10 for his thunder attack.
Defense Power- 2
Guide:
Keep attack him with your attacks until he takes out the Star Rod to increase his power even more. Use the Star Beam to get rid of his power but when you find out that it doesn't work anymore, the screen shifts to.........

Kammy Koopa:
Hit Points- 10
Location- Bowser's Castle Top Arena
Attack Power- 3, 2, 1 , and then 0!
Defense Power- 1
Guide:
Have Twink attack Kammy Koopa with Dash. When it doesn't work, have Peach use Focus on Twink to increase his power. Kammy's attack gets less and less powerful, while Twink's rises by a lot. Deal 10 damage to Kammy to knock her out. You then make the Peach Beam!

Bowser(3)- Part 2:
Hit Points- Whatever you left him with
Location- Princess Peach's Castle Top Arena
Attack Power- 8 for stamp/nail attack, 10 for fire breath, 6 damage to Mario and 3 to his partner with his wave attack, 10 for his thunder attack.
Defense Power- 2
Guide:
Now that you have the upgraded Peach Beam, use it against Bowser to get rid of his invincibilty. He will also heal 30 HP at times, and his is quite annoying. Hope he isn't greedy about healing, because that would be very annoying. Anyways, use your strongest attacks on him with the same attacks. This battle will last a while. Also, have Watt accompany you, since she can cut trough his defense power. After the long fight is finally over, you recover the Star Rod and Mario is cheered for.
