Welcome to the home page of the 369th vs. JVFS Fighters Anthology Tournament. We hope that all of those virtual pilots who participate have an enjoyable experience, and good luck to everyone.

Suggested Rules of Engagement:

The tournament, running from 01/31/03 through 02/09/03, shall consist of the two main types of adversarial games in Fighters Anthology - namely, guns only and ABA.  The two types of games shall preferably be flown in numbers resembling a ratio of 1:1.  The actual number of games shall be determined by the number of players from each squad that report to the tournament according to the above ratio, as opposed to being set outright.  This prevents a scenario where there are too many games to be flown with too little players; however, we all of course hope that everyone who can show up will do so.

General Suggestions:

- No single player from either squad may fly more than half the games of either type.

- All matches will be flown as either 2v2 or 3v3.  Less players in a game tend to be less fun, and more tend to lag the game.

- Either side may host any game.

- "No joy" (i.e. restart game) can be called by anyone as long as no kills have yet been made or no airbase damage yet inflicted.

- A game in which a player disconnects midway may be reflown, provided that both sides agree to do so.  However, dumping a game simply because you are losing or already winning is in poor taste and may be cause for a game to be scored as a win for the team that did not disconnect.

- Taking screenshots of a game's debrief is suggested, in case the end of a game is in dispute.  However, it is always preferable for losing side of a game to concede defeat unless there is real reason to dispute the end.

- All preceding and following rules of engagement are of a suggestive nature and are open to amendment if participants consent.

Guns Only:

- Any map (including a custom, provided all players agree to it) is okay, but one without SAM/AAA interference is generally preferable.

- Clear daytime weather.

- Any plane is allowed.

- Leave the chutes alone; however, once a player ejects he should revive immediately to prevent an accidental pilot kill.

- Game ends at 20 kills by one player.

Airbase Assault:

- Baltics, Greece, Vladivostok, Pakistan, Kuril, or Korea only.  Panama ok if no Blue South or Red East. Custom maps okay if all participants agree.

- Any time of day or weather.

- Irons only, no heavies.  All planes will be picked by the players.

- A plane on the ground should be considered safe unless fired upon by one.
