Do you want to be able to remove any traces of your surfing history so no-one can check up on your surfing habits?
Especially your employer?
With Windows left click on -

Then move the cursor up to "SETTINGS".
A window will slide out.
Move the cursor over to the right and left click on "CONTROL PANEL".
When Control Panel opens - right click on:

and left click on "OPEN".
This will appear:

Under the "GENERAL" tab left click on "Delete Files" in the area containing "Temporary Internet Files".
This will appear:

Left click on "OK".
Then left click on "OK" at the bottom of the window.
Any record of where you have been will be gone.
Maybe...
To be safe remove your history from the dropdown menu in the Address Bar too.
In the "History" area-

Click on "Clear History" and a window will pop up saying,"Are you sure you want Windows to delete your history of visited websites?"
Click on "Yes".
Click on "OK" to close the window.
Now,You should be safe!!!
Defragmenting Help Hit "CMD R" or "REFRESH" if all the images fail to appear.
At the bottom of your computer screen you will see the top image to the left & the bottom image on your right:

The stuff to the left with the START button should be left alone.
The stuff on the right with the numbers below the icons is where you can remove icons to greatly speed up defragmenting your computer.
Of course YOU will not have all the same tiny icons I have in my tray.
This is just a general guide to shutting off active programs to speed up defragmenting your computer.
Here is a list of my icons & comments about how to temporarily shut down the programs associated with them.
They will come back when you restart your computer!!!
Right click on the icons to get a tiny window to open with the "exit" or "pause" or "unload" options.

- 2 - Task Scheduler - Click on "PAUSE"
- 3 - Volume - Leave It Alone!!!
- 4 - Direct Scan - Click on "EXIT"
- 5 - Ulead Calendar Checker - Click on "EXIT"
- 6 - Monitor Display - Leave It Alone!!!
- 7 - Updates From HP - Click on "SHUT DOWN"
- 8 - Real Download - Click on "UNLOAD REAL DOWNLOAD"
- 9 - Internet Connection - Click on "Disconnect"
- 10 - Real Startup - Click on "CLOSE START CENTER"
- 11 - Your Computer Clock - Leave It Alone!!!
- 12 - Run ScanDisk
- 13 - Run Defragmenter
Since I started doing this defragmenting time is very reduced.
