Back again. Had a great weekend. Just received a call from Larek. Crazybytes 2002 Volume 3 4CD is out same as Yorin 3. Yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you, Crazybytes 4CD!! Larek was told the DVD should be released tomorrow but that's been said a few times before so I will only believe that if I see the damn thing....
Thursday, March 14 2002
Seems even my mainsite, the one you are looking at right now, is also suffering of a bandwidthproblem. Sorry for that. I have said it a few times before, please be patient. I will look into things when I'm back...

Just a short update this time because I will be away for the weekend. Finished and upped the final versions of the Twilight 69 front- and dvdboxcover. Also finished and upped the Onyx DVD 4 stuff, DVDbox and DVDlabels. Check them out. Furthermore I received a mail from Kamagurka about my MP3 story last Monday. He recommended Exact Audio Copy because in this program you can make in 1 step a tracklist and a MP3 from a mixcd. I tried it and it works fine for me. One bug still is that in the cue-file it says 'WAVE' instead of 'MP3'. I changed that manually and CDRWin worked like a charm with this. Great, thanks for the tip. Now I can say to the people making all those MP3DVD's: use this program also if you want to put mixes on your DVD's. It's easy enough to do and it gives a real qualityboost to your product! It really is no fun if a mix holds 36 tracks and between each track, every 2 minutes that is, there is a hickup....

Larek just told me Crazybytes DVD is delayed until Friday.... Hope this doesn't develop itself into the same kind of story the Onyx DVD saga was... Speaking about Onyx. They've been busy. Onyx DVD 4 is out and they have launched a new leaf on their tree, MP3 Attack 1 DVD. If I'm correct about 35 albums on it. You can find the listing on CDRaiser. Serious competition for the MP3 Collection DVD's? I haven't seen a copy so I can't tell you the differences between the two DVD's. Maybe someone can tell me. Are the MP3's in a higher bitrate like 256 or 320? Are the covers of a (much) better resolution then the ones from MP3 Collection? Are mixes put on the DVD as 1 MP3 instead of 36? It would be nice if that's the case. It's easy to make such a MP3 if you have dBpowerAmp (freeware!). If I want to make such an MP3 first I create an image with CDRWin (for the CUE-file) and then convert the mix with dBpowerAmp to a single MP3. I know, if the tracklist on the original CD includes the tracklength you can type it yourself but for me this is the easiest way to do it. This way if you want to burn the mix back to CD you don't get those nasty hick-ups between tracks... Just use CDRWin and your MP3 is nicely converted back to audio. Hmmm, while I read all this back I must say it's a bit off topic but hey, gimme a break ;-) |

Changed the Twilight frontcovers (2CD/DVD) to scanned versions. Some people asked for them. Still, my final ones will be available in a few days though....
Saturday, March 9 2002
Upped a preview version of the Twilight 2CD front and the DVDbox. Final versions will be available in a few days. I'm sorry to say this but I've decided to only make the Twilight DVD Boxcover from now on. It's taking up to much of my time to make the whole DVD-line every month...

Upped a wrong version of the news. I talked about the release of Twilight 2CD/DVD and that (most of) the covers are
finished and uploaded. MP3DVD 7 and 9 are also out and 7 is said to be good this time. Also there is news about Crazybytes DVD, the release is scheduled for next Monday!! Great news. Larek gave me some more news. It seems that, how shall I call them, 'hobby'-DVD's are produced with movies on them. Nothing new you might say, there already was the Moviebox a while back. But this is different. This DVD will contain 1 movie only with Dutch subtitles. First one out will be 'Harry Potter' and next one is said to be 'Monsters Inc.'. I'm told the quality of the first DVD (harry Potter) is, on a scale from 1 to 10, a minor 6. Black scenes are grey, subtitles are not always visible. Prices are rather high also. If you want to have a movie 6 months before it's available in the stores you should get it. |

Last night Orca released version 2.0 of his Universal Twilight Menu. Take a look, it's a very nice program!
Thursday, Febuary 28 2002
It's Crazybytes DVD 1 instead of 2002 Volume 3.
Wednesday, February 27 2002
Just received the following news from Larek: "Crazybytes 2002 Volume 3 DVD is to be released in about 7 days....." That's great news!
Monday, Febuary 25 2002
Backcover of Crazybytes 2002 Volume 2 is also finished and upped...
Sunday, Febuary 24 2002
Finished and uploaded the frontcover of Crazybytes 2002 Volume 2...
Wednesday, Febuary 20 2002
|
Upped the SCANNED versions of the Crazybytes 2002 Volume 2 covers, thanks to Larek... As you can see, they didn's care for the layout of their last 4CD-box covers. Will make my last version a bit later this week. A screenshot of the new menu is available here |

Woohoo! We are proud to present... CRAZY BYTES RELEASE 2 CD 1 !! Well that about wraps it up for this month. Yes THIS month, cause we'll be coming back with DVD 3 in about a month time. Are you browsing the menu yet? No? Well get busy or you wont be ready for DVD 3 ! We at Crazy Bytes all hope you will love and embrace this last CD release. See you next month! The one and only Crazy Bytes Crew This says it all doesn't it? Listing has been posted and the covers will follow shortly..... Also a few bugs, like the menu didn't work under XP, have been fixed. Full information about the software is also available again. Nice work Crew! |
Sunday, February 17 2002
A few days ago I told you Crazybytes 2002 Volume 2 was out. In a way it is. There is only a problem in the distribution part. That will be (hopefully) fixed soon.
Thursday, February 14 2002
|
Happy Valentine you all ;-) Just received the following news from Larek: Crazybytes 2002 Volume 2 is out! Volume 1 was 14 days late and this one is on time. Hopefully with a new version of the menu with more information about the stuff on the CD's and some more fixes like the XP error and more... Listing of the Crazybytes will be available soon... Also Yorin 2 is out. |
Tuesday, February 12 2002
Finished and uploaded the final versions of the Twilight 68 2CD/DVD covers...enjoy!
Saturday, February 9 2002
Uploaded a raw first version of the Twilight 68 2CD/DVD frontcovers. You can use them if you want but if you want more quality you will have to wait a few more days for the final ones...
Friday, February 8 2002
When you install Guilty Gear X and then start the game you will get the "No original disc in drive" message. Before you go on burning the installstuff to CD the following note: I found a No-CD patch for the game. Just go here and get it...
Thursday, February 7 2002
Fixed the link to the Onyxpage...
Thursday, February 7 2002
Twilight 68 2CD/DVD, MP3 Collection 8 and the Special Edition MP3 2DVD are out!
Wednesday, February 6 2002
Listings of Twilight 68 2CD/DVD are available so I've already finished and uploaded most of the covers for you. Also I've made an Onyx page. Covers are scanned versions but labels are custom. Check them out and I'm as always open for suggestions.... Also the listing of the famous MP3 Collection 8 is available. Check CD-Raiser for that one.
Sunday, February 3 2002
One more thing regarding the Crazybytes 'New Style': the autorun.inf is wrong. It says "open=autorun.exe" instead of "open=menu.exe" so the cd's will never startup themselves. Little point of attention for you CBCrew...
Friday, February 1 2002
Mxx uploaded the fixed menus of Twilight 66 and 67. He hasn't been around for a while but I'm glad he's back. A few days ago he already told me he finished them and I did adjust the links on the Twilightpages but I totally forgot to mention it here... Thanks Ruud for reminding me. I've also uploaded the final versions of the Crazybytes 2002 Volume 1 covers.
Thursday, January 31 2002
Finished a raw Betaversion of the Crazybytes 2002 Volume 1 Front- and Backcover. You can see them next to the scanned versions I've uploaded yesterday. I'm still not sure if I will be able to recreate them in the same quality as I did the 'old ones' but we'll see....
Wednesday, January 30 2002
Ok, for now I have put some scans of the front- and backcover of Crazybytes 2002 Volume 01 for you. Labels are as usual the custom ones. Better versions of the covers (notice the traffic error still on the side...) will follow.
Wednesday, January 30 2002

Larek came with the solution to the XP-problem regarding the Crazybytes new menu.exe: - open CD in explorer - right-click on menu.exe - choose properties - choose compatibility - choose for example Win98/ME That's all there is to it! Great work Larek. |
Wednesday, January 30 2002

Upped the listing of Crazybytes 2002 Volume 1, thanks to Larek... Some screenshots of the new menu...

Some more details about the Crazybytes 2002 Issue 1 release. The menu doesn't seem to
work under XP (at least with Larek it doesn't). Under 98SE it does. I don't know yet if it works under Millenium or W2K but
we will know that soon enough. The GUI is totally restyled and they state in their welcome: "Welcome to the new Crazy Bytes CD, issue 1, 2002 ! We took a lot of effort to make the new look of CrazyBytes. Things should be a lot easier to install now and the GUI is faster and more stable. Of course things are still heavily under development so expect CB to become better and better. Highlights of this release are Return to Castle Wolfenstein + bonus CD, Capitalism II, Deviance, Norton Antivirus 2002 and many more exciting titles ! The Audio CD is the debut of young K- Otic star Sita: Happy. You can find the mp3's and sleeves in the sfx directories." Also there is a listing in access-format on the CD so if the menu doesn't work for you use that one if you want to know what and where things can be found. More news in a few hours... |
Wednesday, January 30 2002
Spoke to Larek just a few minutes ago and yes, Crazybytes is out. It really is. But, big changes are made. It is still a 4CD set but there are full cd's on it and a music album (Sita - Happy). The name has changed a bit, "Crazybytes Games/Apps/Music 2002 Volume 1" or something in that style. So no number 69! My guess is they will start with the DVD's the same way, DVD 1 2002. If this is the case the 4CD set could be, just as the Twilight 2CD set, an extraction of the DVD version. I will recieve the listing and scans of it in a few hours and put them online for you. Looks like I have to start from scratch again with my versions of the covers. CD-labels are still yellow but they are easily changed (I think). I do hope I will still be able to make a custom version of the covers but that I will know in a few hours also...

People asked me if I was losing my touch. Huh? I wasn't the first posting the news about the
releases of Onyx DVD 2 and 3 and Crazybytes 69. Well, I actually have a social life, I do
have real life friends and I go away weekends with them. Just like the last couple of days.
Had a lot of fun and therefor wasn't in the mood to go to a internetcafe to upload stuff. I
did have contact with Larek so I knew about the releases but sometimes it's better for your
social life to leave internet alone for a while ;-) But to make up for that I've put a scan of the Onyx DVD 3 cover online for you all.... Hope to receive the listing of Crazybytes 69 from Larek this afternoon so I can start making the covers. |

No sign of Crazybytes 69 4CD so far. But that gives you the chance to save your money for next month. Well, if you
collect the MP3DVD's that is. DVD 7, 8 and the Special Edition released together. That's a real setback in your cashflow.
But...these kind of things have been said before so I'm not completely convinced about the realisation of this event.
Also Onyx is chancing some things. Turning the DVD 3 into a double DVD makes me think they put number 4 together with
3 to get back on track. I have no problem with this, don't get me wrong. It would be nice if they were able to make good
on their releasedates. Remember the start of the Twilight DVD's. Always late but after a few (8 I believe...) months
they got the hang of it and now they are (mostly) on time and together with the 2CD set. I hope Onyx can make this
happen also because, in essence, they have a good competitive product... Speaking about competitive products, I'm getting really curious about the Crazybytes DVD. Only a week to go now... |
Tuesday, January 15 2002
Larek told me some things again. Crazybytes 69 is delayed until next week. But, to make up for that, it is now said (officially) that Crazybytes DVD will be back soon! Well that's the best news I got thusfar this year. Something else that is planned is a DVD with all Top 40 Videoclips. Don't know if there is a market for it but we'll see...
Tuesday, January 15 2002
For those of you who are really curious about what the MP3DVD 7 cover looks like, click here.
Saturday, January 12 2002
If you thought things couldn't get worse for the MP3 Crew I can tell you this, you're wrong! Larek told me something tonight that made me think about the BSA and their war against Warez/Music Groups. The BSA can stop with their chase because some groups are on a collision course with disaster themselves. Take this famous Special 2DVD Edition for example. With the first attempt creating it, the first DVD was wrong. Pressed the image as a file instead of an image. This can happen, no harm done. Then they remade it. It turns out to be of a worse quality then the first attempt. How depressed can you get when you're part of that group? I don't know but I'm really wondering if this Special Edition will ever see the light of day if you have to make three attempts to get a working DVD...
Saturday, January 12 2002
Received the following message from Jam'n : "The Andre Hazes directory is really empty. Also there are bad mp3’s (all of them) in the following directories: TMF hitzone 17 / Rod Stewart cd 1 & 2 / Whitney Houston /Mariah Carey cd 1 & 2. I believe there are even more bad mp3’s but I haven’t had the time to check them all, a friend of mine told me that there are 12 directories with bad mp3’s. Also there are lots of non working covers." What can I say....
Saturday, January 12 2002
Some more bugs are loose. MP3DVD 7 gives the following error: "Menu.exe is not a valid win32 application". The content seems to be good though... That is, I'm told the Andre Hazes directory is empty but I have no confirmations about that right now.
Friday, January 11 2002
Ok, thanks to Willem and Walter I was able to finish and upload all the remaining Twilight 67 covers for you. So the whole set is complete now. Enjoy! MP3DVD 7 cover (scan) will follow!
Friday, January 11 2002
Onyx is cursed. It has to be. How else can you explain al the shit that is happening to them? Now in the middle of the proces, the machine that prints the labels onto the DVD's goes wacko and dies. How much worse can things get? The Onyx crew has decided not to release the DVD's that are correctly printed yet but to wait for monday. There will be a new printer installed and the rest of the DVD's will be done. Then the release will take place. I'm wondering about the Onyx people mental condition right now I must say.... Thank you Larek for telling me this.

Something strange happened, I just received some listings of Italian Warez DVD's. Since
I'm not Italian I can't say I've heard of them before. So I don't know if the info I received
is correct or a hoax. If you are Italian and you know about the existence of these two Warez DVD's, please mail me.
Here are the two listings: Italight 11 and Dougal 27. Enjoy! Btw. Onyx DVD 3 has just been released. So it IS released before number 2. How nice..... Listing will follow. |
Thursday, January 10 2002
Larek gave me lots of work again today. Twilight 67 2CD and DVD will be out soon but listings were available so I was able to make some covers for them already. Rest will follow. Also the listing of MP3 Collection DVD 7 is available. Enjoy!
Tuesday, January 8 2002
As far as Larek could tell me, Crazybytes 69 will be released somewhere around the 18th of this month. So far only some delay, no discontinuation of the 4CD sets.....
Thursday, January 3 2002
|
Best wishes to all of you. Let's hope this will be a better year then last one... New year, good intensions, new releases. Yorin 1 2002 has hit the streets. Twilight is being worked on as we speak. The release of Twilight 67 2CD/DVD will be a matter of days. Early next week will be a good guess I think. No news about Crazy Bytes and that is a bit odd since Yorin and Crazy Bytes are normally released together but that is also a matter of days I think. Onyx (again) is a different story. Larek told me that the master of Onyx DVD 3(!!!) is finished and now they only have to solve some production problems and then 3 will be released before 2! Why am I not surprised? I know I told you all here that I wouldn't be posting any more stuff regarding Onyx until releases where a fact but this one was to good to let go. But we all know Onyx by now, maybe they surprise us and bring 2 and 3 togheter... Onyx 8 3CD was released just before Christmas btw. |
Saturday, December 22 2001
I almost forgot, I will also try to answer the mountain of email you people sent me the last couple of days but please be a little patient....

Back again. I was away for a short holiday and when I came back I saw some things had happened. Not all of them were
good. Major busts in the warezscene. CD-Raiser has a story about it, read it if you didn't already. The famous Christmas
release of Crazy Bytes will not take place this year, it's a shame. Maybe it has something to do with the bust of a
supplier of them. But I don't really think so. Next release seems to be sceduled for the beginning of january so this guy being busted
has no effect on that. I imagine there is still stuff distributed on tapes as it was a while back... (nice if you own
something like an Onstream drive or similar...). Still no news about CB DVD. Onyx is awfully quiet, not with announcing new releases but in really doing as they say. The word 'soon' is something of a twilight zone period of time for them I believe. But we will wait some more. People ask me for covers of the MP3 DVD Collection DVD's. I have no time right now to 're-do' them but if you scroll through the news items on this page you will find some scans of them. Maybe I will make a page for them but not for now... I think this will be my last post before Christmas unless something should happen so: Happy Holidays to all of you and your families. I especially want to say Best Wishes to Nitallica. Damn the people who burglarized your place!I hope you and your beau can still enjoy coming holidays. Hope to see you back soon. |
Friday, December 14 2001
MP3 Collection DVD 6 has finally hit the streets....
Thursday, December 13 2001
Well, the Crazy Bytes Crew can also make mistakes. Larek just told me that about 10% of the distributed Crazy Bytes 68 sets contain a wrong CD1. It's a Hitexplosion CD1 instead of a CB CD1...
Monday, December 10 2001
|
Interesting story came to me today (from Larek ofcourse). The MP3 people will release the MP3 Collection Special
Double DVD as it is. This means you will pay your precious bucks and you will get a double DVD from which one DVD
won't work (for now). Then you will have to wait (and therefor trust them...) for the release of MP3 Collection
Volume 7. There the new fixed DVD will be. Does this kind of thing ring a bell with you? With me it does. I know one
guy who absolutely won't sell this product in it's current state to his customers. Why not? Too much trouble, I mean
remember some Crazybytes releases with not working CD's, Twilight DVD's with menu's that didn't work with Win2K. The
solution for that W2K problem was made NOT by the crew but by two other people (look at the Twilight DVD cover
section for that...) and that one took several months! And we all remember Twilight 65 and it's famous menu...but I
also have to say that that one was fixed in a pretty fast way (about 2 weeks or so) I personally say, why would you (MP3 Crew) do this, you guys have a good and popular product. It's a 2DVD with older albums so why not wait until you have fixed the fawlty DVD and then release the whole pack? Does it have to be on the streets before Christmas? I looked at the cover and couldn't find any line saying something about december or Christmas or whatever. You have a good thing going here, don't mess it up by releasing this 2DVD as it is now, it would be a damn waste... |
Friday, December 7 2001
Surprise, surprise. I've re-made the Twilight DVDBox labels for 61 to 64 in "Baldyman style". You can find them in the Twilight DVD section on the page where 64 and 65 are located. Enjoy!

Lots of stories going around regarding both MP3 Collection DVD Special Edition (2DVD) and MP3 Collection DVD Release 6.
If you haven't read them allready just visit CD Raiser and you will find the stories there,
no need for me to repeat them here right?
Only thing I know is that MP3 Collection DVD Release 6 is to be released officially today and that we have to wait a
little while longer for MP3 Collection DVD Special Edition (2DVD). What I DO have are the complete listings and covers for you:
About the Twilight 66 DVDbox, I (as some of you also mailed me...) noticed the original cover had a slightly different layout. The picture was all the way down. Mine isn't. I'm not sure what to do. Will this be the layout from now on or is it just a mistake. I created a second version with the pic also all the way down and ... well, decide for yourselfs... |
Saturday, December 1 2001
Twilight 66 2CD/DVD is out! And with the help of Larek and Willem I was able to finish and upload all the covers. Again, enjoy them! Ofcourse the listing are also available...
Wednesday, November 28 2001
Okay, frontcover of Crazybytes 68 "Harry Potter" is also finished and upped so the set is complete again...
Tuesday, November 27 2001
Upped listing, backcover and cdlabels of Crazybytes 68 "Harry Potter", enjoy! Frontcover will be finished somewhere tomorrow.
Tuesday, November 27 2001
Crazybytes 68 "Harry Potter" is out now! Same goes for Yorin 12. This is fast! Also Twilight 66 is about to be released, it even might be tomorrow or the day after that! Onyx is being pressed as I type this so that one will be available in a week or so. MP3DVD Collection 6 is also about to emerge.... Enough for now. Listing of Crazybytes 68 will be available later tonight.
Wednesday, November 21 2001
Also Mxx finished and upped his menu95.exe version for the Twilight 65 2CD release!
Wednesday, November 21 2001

Some updates. Crazybytes DVD is about to rise from it's ashes soon. There is a little discussion going on about the way
things will be. Start fresh at number 11 or (and this is fun!) release numbers 7 to 10 also!!! And if so, in what way.
All at once, meaning your Christmas diner will be reduced to a turkey sandwich (*grin*), or like 7 <-- 2 weeks --> 8 <-- 2 weeks --> 9 blabla.
Last options will bring you up to date in about 10 weeks. More news about this soon.... More important news for the Crazybytes fans and surely for the ones using CBExecutor. Big updates at his place! A new release of CBExecutor (2.01) and databaseupdates for CB 64 to 67 are also available! Go get them. |
Thursday, November 15 2001
It has arrived! The fixed Twilight DVD 65 Menu95.exe. Peerke is responsible for mailing me this wonderful news. It's upped and waiting in the Twilight DVD section. Please don't direct-link to it in case you want to put it on your own site. To keep my traffic on a normal level please supply it from your own respective servers....
Tuesday, November 13 2001
Damn, looks like Twilight did it again. The intention was to distribute the menu in 3 rar-files but one of the files is corrupt. That would not be so bad if they kept the original files and sourcecode in a safe place. But no, it's deleted so the whole job has to be done again. I really wonder now how long this will take...
Tuesday, November 13 2001
Problem, my whole hotmailaccount went blank. All mails are gone. If you mailed me last couple of days please mail me again since I can't tell now which mail I responded to and which mail I didn't.

Things are really in motion this week. Larek just received word about the new fixed Twilight 65 DVD menu. It's supposed to be
released this morning so if all goes well we are able to post it later this day. Also there is a list of Crazybytes
DVD 11. Huh, you might say? Yes they are still in business. In about two or three weeks (I personally would say a month to be
on the safe side...) a new release should be available. The list that is spreading isn't a fake. The crew themselves in a way
made it available to us. It was in XML format so we only took the items out to make it a bit more clear to look at.
The only thing we are not totally sure about is whether it is a final list or not. You can find the list on the Crazybytes DVD page. Oh, before it totally slips my mind, the Onyx DVD 2 is supposed to be released in a week or so. (I hope this will not turn out to be the same release-date-soap as DVD 1). |
Wednesday, November 7 2001
It's finished and uploaded! The one and only Baldyman's Twilight DVDBoxcover! Go to the Twilight DVD-section and take a look. I'm quite pleased with the result to say the least... ;-)
Wednesday, November 7 2001
There were some problems last night and this morning with my V3 account so I've made a second one: http://everything.at/thebaldyman.
Tuesday, November 6 2001
Larek called me and told me he had received some complaints about me not deleting the post where I mentioned that the Twilight 65 DVD would be re-released. I will say only one thing about this: I post the news as I get it. As you could all read a day later, Larek informed me then Twilight had decided to release the damn thing instead of doing it all over because to many copies were already distributed. I don't withdraw news but I post any new developments as they come, this is why we call it news. In this case the news was correct when I received it, lateron the story developed itself in another direction. This I can't help, it's the way things go.
Monday, November 5 2001
Okay, finished and uploaded the frontcovers of Twilight 65 2CD/DVD too. Enjoy! Thanks Larek for the input... I only have to get the scanned version of the DVD-boxfor you. I will have that one in a day or two. I'm also working on a Baldyman version of it....need I say more..
Sunday, November 4 2001
Finished some more Twilight 65 covers. I only need to make the frontcovers now. This I will do in a day or two.
Friday, November 2 2001
Some more Twilight DVD news: Larek just told me, and Ego posted it also on CD-Raiser, the Twilight DVD will be released with the faulty menu. They wanted to do the whole set over but part of the stock was already distributed so it would be difficult to get those copies back. Twilight stated they will release a fixed menu asap. I hope this doesn't take them the same amount of time like with the W2K bug a while back. Maybe Bytes4U and Dr. Resource can make a fix for this also ;-) I'm also very curious where they will release this new menu95.exe since the site is still offline...
Friday, November 2 2001
Covers of Crazybytes 67 "The Score" are finished and uploaded, enjoy!
Thursday, November 1 2001
This is really hot news. Just received a phonecall from Larek. The Twilight 65 DVD release has been cancelled. There is an error on the DVD. It doesn't work! They will make a new master this weekend and in 7 to 10 days the re-release will take place. The Twilight 65 2CD has no errors (apart from the usual menubugs...) and is released as planned.

Crazybytes 67 "The Score" is out! Listing and CDlabels are online. Also it's said that Twilight 65 2CD/DVD are out. I have NO confirmation about that story yet! My own source, Larek, told me that they are expected to be released next week or so. This means the listing and the covers I have put online is, to me, NOT the final listing until it's confirmed... Same goes for the Mp3 Volume 5 listing...
