*.:Spyro's Secret Room:.*

Ah, so you have found Spyro's Secret Room, huh? It wasn't that hard to find, but here you will find codes/cheats and wierd and secret pictures from Spyro! Have fun!

This is a weird picture from Spyro 1. The crystalized dragons aren't supposed to look like Spyro, but adult dragons... hmmm...

Spyro the Dragon Codes/Cheats

P.S. Whatever number is inside the () is the number of times you press that button (ex: Square(6) would mean press the Square button 6 times).

99 Lives:

Pause the game and go to the Inventory then press Square(6), then O, Up, O, Left, O, Right, then O.

Level Select:

Go to the inventory in the pause game menu. Now press Square(6), O, Up, O, Left, O, Right, then O.

"Crash Bandicoot: Warped" Demo:

At the title screen, press L1 + Triangle (at the same time).

Spyro(2): Ripto's Rage/Gateway to Glimmer Codes/Cheats

All Abilities:

Pause the game and press O(4), then Square to obtain the swimming, climbing, and headbash abilities without going to the respective levels and buying them from Moneybags.

Big Head Mode:

Pause the game and press Up(4), R1(4), then O to increase the size of Spyro's head.

Flat Mode:

Pause the game and press Left, Right, Left, Right, L2, R2, L2, R2, then Square to make Spyro's body flat.

Turn Spyro Different Colors:

Pause the game and press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up then:

O = Red

X = Blue

Square = Pink

Triangle = Green

Up = Yellow

Down = Black

The last button you hit after you do the long code about determines the color of Spyro. Be careful when you turn Spyro blue. This is the code I use to turn Spyro Blue: Pause the game then press Up(2), Right, Down, Left, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, then X.

I do this so I don't exit the level I am currently in or quit the game I am playing.

View Credits:

Pause the game and press Square, O, Square, O, Square, O, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right.

"Crash Team Racing" Demo:

At the title screen, hold L1 + R2 and press Square.

Find Gems:

Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and Sparks will point you in the direction of the nearest gem. This really isn't a code, you just hold all 4 shoulder buttons during any level in the game and Sparx will point to the nearest gem.

Spyro 2 Hints

Extra Lives:

An extra life is obtained for every 10 butterflies Spyro eats.

Permanent Super Fireball:

You get to go to Dragon Shores after defeating Ripto. All 10,000 gems and 64 orbs are required to enter the door at that location. A permanent Super Fireball power-up is inside. After picking up the permanent Super Fireball power-up, finish Dragon Shores and exit the game. Then, without turning off the PlayStation, overwrite the character that was just used to complete the game. Restart the game and it should allow you to keep the Fire Ball ability from the very beginning.

Idol Springs Portal in Summer Forest:

As you first enter the world, swim in the pond. At the far side is a tunnel to the first of 3 puzzles. To complete the first puzzle, jump on the squares to turn the blocks yellow. Jump on the four corners in any order. Then, swim out to the idol in the center of the pond. Blow fire at the fish as they leap out of the water. Only blow at the blue and orange fish. The red ones will deduct fish. At the last puzzle, jump on the blocks in this order: blue triangle, gray triangle, yellow star, orange octagon, and green star.

Skill Points:

After defeating Ripto, a "Skill Points" section will appear in the guidebook. If you complete certain tasks in the game, you will be awarded a skill point. There are a total of 16 skill points in the entire game. After accomplishing one of these tasks, a sound will play and a bonus life will be awarded.

1. In Colusus, get a perfect score. (5-0) while playing hockey 1 on 1.

2. In Idol Springs, glide and land on the big idol next to the hula girl.

Spyro 2 Orbs

Speedway Orbs

To earn the Orb in each of the four speedways you must first find the hidden task to perform. The game cannot be completed 100% without the Orbs.

Ocean Speedway

There is a large group of spectators, ahead and to the left as you begin the level. Fly to them and talk to the fish-like lady to acquire the task. Complete the task to receive an Orb.

Metro Speedway

Fly toward the large group of buildings. There is a waterfall in the center of them. Fly behind the waterfall to find a person that will reveal the task for the Orb.

Icy Speedway

Fly around the main island until you locate a igloo. Headbash the igloo and Hunter will give you the task for another Orb. If you have not learned the Headbash maneuver from World 3 (since this Speedway is on World 2), you can simply land and run into the igloo. The Speedway's automatically supercharges you when on the ground, giving you the power to break it.

Canyon Speedway

Follow the path of goats until reaching the area with the circling vultures. Fly high above to the canyon rim and look for Hunter in a little nook.

Summer Forest Orbs:

Find Hunter near the large pond and he will reveal a series of jumps to perform.

Dive down a pool of water to your left where you started the level. Climb the stairs at the end to find the Orb.

Once you have learned to climb, go to the large orange circle room. Climb the ladder to find the Orb.

There is a door then some stairs in the room where Moneybags lowers a wall. At the top should be a window and a closed door to the right. Glide out the window and move to the left into another window to find the Orb.

Autumn Plains Orbs:

Before the stairs leading to the Boss are some cracks in the wall which you can ram through. Use the whirlwind, and then the next one, to reach the high tower. From here, look ahead and you will see a tall platform in the distance, outside and to the left of the outer wall of the main yard. Glide to it and get the Orb.

From the tall platform (above), glide the outer wall and make your way to the left. At the end you should see another cracked wall. The Orb is inside. Winter Tundra Orbs Use the whirlwind in the courtyard to rise high in the air. From here, go right and find the a waterfall going into a pool of water. Dive in the water and follow the path to the last Orb. You should come out near Canyon Speedway.

Use the whirlwind again to go to the left side of the courtyard. Land on the wall. The Orb is just sitting there and is easy to find.

After you learn how to headbash, look for the largest rock near the entrance to the courtyard. Headbash the rock and to find the Orb inside.

Fun Things to Do in Spyro 2

Fly Outside of Summer Forest:

Go to the top of the hill via the underwater passage in Summer Forest (where an orb is found). Jump and glide left. You can fly 'outside' the world and get a very strange view of the underwater passage!

Swim in Mid-Air in Breeze Harbor:

In Breeze Harbor (Autumn Plains) you can swim out of water, through the air... everywhere. To swim out of water, start the fire under the burner next to the pool of water. This will raise the water level to the same level as one of the steps. Float on top of the water facing this step at the right side of the step ... right up next to it. Now dive! You'll be in/on the step and swimming and can now swim everywhere!

Swim in Mid-Air in Mystic Marsh:

There's a similar bug in Mystic Marsh (Winter Tundra) that I just found out (no, it isn't the "Catch the Last Thief in the Water" glitch/bug"). Ok, go to where the end portal is (where Snoozle the WaterWizard is) and go to the tree in the water that is beside that path leading up to Snoozle. Where the tree starts on the surface, it is very thin and touches the water (it is the longer part of the bottom of the tree, going down into the water). Face the thin part of where the tree hits the water's surface (but don't get on the tree!). Now, hit the Square button to dive down (dive down IN FRONT of the tree). The game will think you have dived into the water since the water is so close to the tree's edge, and will allow you to swim in mid-air if done correctly! This isn't a joke or anything, I did this just last night for the first time (March 4th, 2002). I will get pictures up here of Spyro swimming in mid-air as soon as possible!

Fly High in Hurricos:

In Hurricos (Summer Forest), when you reach the first two big windmills, use the supercharge to destroy the windmills in front of the buttons. DO NOT ACTIVATE THE BUTTONS. Jump up on top of button and get stuck up there (or off to the side of it) ... when the screen starts vibrating move to the right, left or jump and it will shoot Spyro up into the air so high you will lose track of the rest of the game at first until you glide down and start seeing things from very high up. You can also use this bug to finish that level quickly. Just fly over to the exit while you are high in the air!

Fun Things to Do in Spyro 3

Swim in Mid-Air in Crystal Islands:

In Crystal Islands (Midnight Mountain), where the giant floating gems are out in the open, you can swim in the air and go nearly anywhere, just avoid the whirlwinds and enemies you have to flame, and you'll be OK. Oh, and stay out of the water, because it will undo the bug. Jump into the water and swim to the edge where you can see the Bently's porthole. Dive forward into the edge of the shore until you are on the ground. (Make sure you are mostly pressing the D-pad up.) You'll have to play with the D-pad a little though, but a few tries should do it. You can now go anywhere you please.

Skateboard Outside of the Skate Park:

In the second skate challenge, when you come off the super jump ramp, turn a hard right and up you will fly outside the skate park for a short time, then die. The view is pretty neat, though. If you are lucky you can also fly back into the skate park.
