Shortcuts and Track Hints

Dragon Cave
On Dragon Cave past the second bridge you will see a church or a lodge just sitting on the side of the track. The door is open, head inside it and you will see a pipe drive along the pipe and press Z. You cannot fall off the pipe, so get as much speed as you can at the end of the pipe jump and when you land you will be right in front of the finish.

Mountain Village
When you get to the tunnel in Mountain Village, turn right at the first fork in the trail. When you come to a second fork, turn left. After a while you will see a light at the end of the tunnel. Do a tuck (Z button) and fly out as far as possible to avoid crashing. Do not jump. After you get past the two logs, go straight until there is a drop off. Jump off and you will land on some mud that goes down to a mogul and a house. This will get you to the village faster than taking an alternate route through the tunnel.

CRYSTAL LAKE
- Right after the big jump, you will see a house with a ramp beside it straight ahead. Go off the course and hit the ramp, and you will find a shorter route than the normal one.

CRYSTAL PEAK
- Right after coming out of the tunnel, you will turn right. You will then see two different paths. Hit the right one. Be sure that after coming out of the tunnel you make the right turn pretty sharp, or you may not be able to turn in time to hit the right path. The right path is much shorter and you will bypass some tough obstacles.

MOUNTAIN VILLAGE
- Inside the cave may seem like a maze, but stick to the right side and you will find your way through much easier.

When you get to the tunnel, turn right at the first fork in the trail.

DRAGON CAVE
- When the track starts you will be in a cave, after the last orange pole make a left and jump up on to the powder area. Follow the powder down to an opening in the gate, jump off and back on to the track. Once your on track jump off just to the right of the sign straight ahead of you.

DRAGON CAVE 2
- Near the end of the course, after the big drop off, there is a house with a moose head in it. Instead of turning away from the house, go straight through it. If you keep going through it, you'll come to a rail. To ride straight over it, just go straight. To actually boardslide it (go perpendicular to it), press Z and jump. When in the air, turn the analog stick to the left (regular footed) or the right (goofy footed). Just keep on it and turn it the opposite way you got on.

DRAGON CAVE 3
- Make sure you're on the ledges after the first bridges, don't fall off, and go left when the path splits, than left again after the rock. When the path ends, it looks like you'll hit the wall, but jump and you might get in the cave. It's very hard to do but well worth it.

DRAGON CAVE 4
- Right after the first bridge take a left try not to fall off. Then when there is another two ways to go take the one on the left again, turn hard right to not fall off. Then straight in front of you, you will see a tunnel you have to jump to get in.

DRAGON CAVE 5
- When you first start out, you will take a curve to the left. After that, there should be a big curve to the right (There should be arrows pointing where to go). Instead of turning, go straight off the cliff (Press A to go faster off the jump. If you do this correctly, you should catch major air. You want to press Z while landing. You have then missed two major curves.

DRAGON CAVE 6
- Just to the left of the first hand pointing you to turn right. Between the hand-sign and the fence is a small area which can be used as a jump to save you between 5 and 6 seconds on your total time.

CRYSTAL LAKE
- You will go off a big jump. At the bottom slowly head to the right. When you see a fork in the trail take the right side for a much quicker and easier route.

DEADLY FALLS
- Once you start the race you have to start going right. Once you meet the cliff try to stay on the narrow strip of snow to your far right. Keep on doing this, stay as far right as you can until you reach the forest.

MOUNTAIN VILLAGE
- About mid-way through the course, in the ice cave, stay right and take the road down the mountain. Go through the first opening in the road and head all the way to the right and go towards the first house you see (near the big mogul). Go through the small space between the house and the mountain. Stay to the right of the course and you will come up to some houses buried deep in the powder once in the village. You can board over the houses if you want, but it's best to just stick to the right and go through the powder. Doing this will save you some time because you wont have to worry about parked cars an curvey roads. Just be careful when you come back on the road because there will be a yellow ramp in your path that could slow you down.

Alternate Route to Shortcut in CRYSTAL LAKE
- There is a house with a ramp next to it, if you hit the ramp it will take you to a much shorter route, but sometimes this isn't easy to do. So, if you turn a tiny bit left right before you hit the ramp you should find an easier and faster way to access this shortcut.

GOLDEN FOREST
- As you get to the frozen river, go right through the middle of the fork, and up the big bank through the powdered snow. You will see a log jetting up from the snow (which is cool to jump, but decreases time). If you go to the left of the log, you should end up back on the path. If you tuck (pressing Z) and dodge all the trees.

At the two forks be sure to go left both times, for a shorter path.
