You can now download Q2ACE 1.21 Private Edition. Before you run the program please read the documentation. If your a 3dfx card owner then please send me some feedback on any problems you come accross. Some bugs have been ironed out but Radeon & Nvidia owners have nothing to worry about :)

Mail sent out to the mailing list so grab Q2ACE 1.20 Private Edition while its hot! I may release another updated 1.20 version tomorrow with some new features so stay tuned.
You will be pleased to hear that the latest Q2ACE 1.19 Private Edition is available to members on the mailing list. Im away for the next 7 days so if you do send any bug reports to my usual address, dont expect any replies until next week. The next version will have some very interesting features so stay tuned..

I have just mailed everyone on the list so please read it, it is not a duplicate of the email I sent yesterday. I located a nasty bug in the earlier release and have updated the version to Q2ACE 1.17 Private Edition. You can download from the same URL as previously stated which is now the fixed updated version. You will also find a q2acecheck.exe within the latest release. It checks to see if you have the latest release of the Q2ACE Private Edition. Your welcome to ICQ myself tonight or before the weekend as I will be away at a friends party :o).

I knew that 1.15 would be released very soon thanks to a dear friend of mine :). I saved myself some time and skipped the 1.14 release, shame on me I hear you say. You will pleased to know that an email will be sent out later today, explaining where you can download Q2ACE 1.15 Private Edition. I have updated the documentation to explain how you can use each feature and a config which was sent to me which makes everything look and feel better. If time permits I may do some demos on Q2ACE only servers, but as you all know this is the real thing. I hope you like the new customised rail trail options :).
Due to the delay in releasing Q2ACE 1.14 I have updated the 1.13 Private Edition to include some of the features I started to add to Q2ACE 1.14 Private Edition. The client variables are explained below
cl_walls 0/1 | 0= Draw Quake2 world normally, 1= Transparent walls
cl_drawplayer 0/1 | 0= Draw players normally, 1= Draw players behind walls
cl_drawsb 0/1 | 0= Draw skybox, 1= Turn skybox drawing off
cl_kb 0/1 | 0= Normal kickback, 1= Turn kickback off like xania...
ignore num | Type talk and choose the number of the player you want to ignore
I checked this works on the new q2admin release which well known ISP use, and I have not been kicked once and neither does it display any modified models ecetera. Its quite funny watching everyone else trying out lame 3rd party hacks and getting kicked, they need Q2ACE 1.15 Private Edition :). Download links have been emailed to everyone on the mailing list.
