The Evil Stage!
STAGE THREE: EGYPT

I like this pic. Hell, I like all the cutscenes in this game, they're probably the most enjoyable thing Warrior of Rome has going for it. Granted, they're not AWESOME, but being in a game like this, they're certainly something.
Well, looky here. My strongest units are underpowered again. It's almost like the programmers want to screw you over.
Goal: Get to the palace while at the same time try and prevent the enemy units from destroying the bridges. They're the only way you can cross the two rivers between your army and the palace. And check out this pic, look at all those friggin barriers you have to tear down to get in there!
This here is one of the most frustrating stages in the game. You have to put SOO much effort into getting everything right. Mess up just a tiny bit and it's game over. And I think it's a bunch of BS that the enemy units suddenly DOUBLE in speed when you get anywhere near the palace. After all the work I did just getting there, you're gonna pull this crap off? And it's even more annoying that, after your units get destroyed, the game throws them all the way back to the starting point. By the time you regain your energy and attempt for a second strike, most of the bridges have been destroyed.
Fuck it, I'll just use this password to skip to stage 4. Oh, I've been to a ton of cheat sites and every single one of them featured the same non-working stage 4 password. So, I had no choice but to actually beat this stage once (a rare achievement) just to get a working one. It was insanely frustrating because one time when I almost reached the palace, the game froze, while the in-game timer read 0666..... yeah, this game is evil.
Conclusion: This stage sucks for being EVIL.
