Racing IIIRacing three is kind of a cross between Boxing, Chase II, and a horse racing game that I had once. When the game starts, you can either race, or buy stuff at the store. You should probably buy first :) You can buy either tires or engines, and you must buy them in order, although you can still look at them. The engines are more expensive, but they affect your car's performance more than the tires. Remember what stuff you already have before you buy, because if you buy two of the same thing that is your problem. When you race, first it will show you the track screen. The numbers for turns and straights are how much of them there are. When you press EXE, it will take you to the car setup screen, where you should select the appropriate engines and tires to match the characteristics of the track. The closer you come, the faster your car will be able to go. Press EXE for the race. Watch it, it is pretty neat. Afterwards, you will see what place you were, how much money you have now, and what level you are on. The prize money and the entry fee go up with each level, which increases every race. If you don't have enough money to pay the entree fee, the game ends. Before you play for the first time, make sure that Matrix N is a 1 by 1. |
