Gulf City is the island's largest city and also its capital. With a population of over 650,000 people from all ethnic groups and countries, and even other worlds, it is truly a melting pot metropolis. It boasts an active seaport, international airport and military base. Several neighborhoods have their own flavor. The old-style Chinatown, Little Jamaica, and Little Cuba all give a feel of the areas that many immigrants came from. Radio Row has the TV and media stations as well as many fine electronics stores. There's Museum Row (with the museums and art galleries), University Row (near the University), Greenway and Ashburn (the city's oldest sections) and a bustling Downtown with skyscrapers.
