EXPANSION MANAGER TAKES HIS LEAVE

One of our noble expansion managers has informed me that he
will no longer be able to take over a team. Please remove
Ted Frank from your mailing lists. I'm currently attempting
to bribe him into staying, and should this effort succeed,
I'll instruct everyone to add him again.

I've had two inquiries to my most recent advertisement for backup
managers, so we may be able to fill the spot fairly quickly.

KNOCKERS' COLLINS ALSO COULD BE LEAVING

Dave Collins has indicated he will not be able to continue in NASA
at the present time. He will continue to receive results for
the Knockers, and tabulate stats through the end of this season.
One of the new crop of backups will take over the team at the
end of the season.

Best wishes to Dave as he deals with his personal concerns, and
here's an open invitation to rejoin NASA if and when the time is right.

Again: please send all series stats to Dave's e-mail, not mine.

MID-SEASON REPORT ON THE HORIZON

In the midst of this bad news comes this ray of light: the NASA
Mid-Season Report should be completed this weekend. The commissioner's
office is still awaiting statistics from the Cicely Polar Bears
and Wichita Whiffers, both of whom have indicated they would have
them by the end of the week.

If anyone has anything they'd like to see in the newsletter, please
let me know.

OLD BUSINESS

I had forgotten to include this bit of news in the last newsletter:
the "Outfielder-out-of-position" rules will remain status quo, by
an 8-4 vote. Sorry for the delay in reporting this.

CORRECTIONS

To the rosters in Newsletter #11: the Cedar Rapids River have
Mark Lewis, not Scott Leuis. The Inwood Landfills have Lance
Blankenship and Andre Dawson.

That's it for this time. Hope evryone's summer is off to a
flying start!

				Joe Sheehan,
					NASA Commissioner
