Annual General Meeting
After a sucessful end-of-season party, the Malta University Handball Club has just announced that on the 1st of July, the Annual General Meeting will be held. During the meeting the new commitee members will be elected and an important decision about the club's future will be taken. All members of the MUHC are requested to come to the meeting. The venue will the Salesian Oratory at Dingli.
Call for Coaches
Apart from the call for new commitee members, the MUHC announced a call for all interested coaches to apply for any of the available sections. These sections are :
- Male U/17 coach
- Female U/17 coach
- Male Prom/Seniors coach
- Female Prom/Seniors coach
All applications have to be sent by not later then 1st July 2003 either by email or sent to "St. Joseph" Mater Boni Consigli Str. Fgura PLA 16. Applications must include all details such as experience, qaulifications etc.
Beach Handball
The Club has also announced that 1st edition of the Beach Handball Tournament will be held on the 20th of July. This event will be held at Birzebbugia's Beach. The club is inviting all players and clubs to participate in this event. During the day, there would be held 2 tournaments for both men and women. In order that the tournaments would be balanced as possible, in each team there should be at least 1 U-17 players and 2 U-19 players. Each squad should have 8 players.Furthermore, players from different clubs could form a team. At the end of the tournament, the champions and the runners-up will receive trophies during a presentation.
The tournament games will be controlled by practicing referees from the national league
