Killer Bees 2K2

A Deck for the Tag Team Variant

Created by massive from www.MTGnews.com

It seems to me that the best tag-team should be one that works together, and should be focused on the tricks that they can do together rather than what one individual deck can do. That's the formula for success for most great tag teams, and so these two decks are designed in a similar vein. The first deck is designed to bear the brunt of the initial attack, with good offense and defense, while the second deck supports the first with some early combat tricks. Then, once the first deck starts to falter as the bad guys apply their dirty tricks, he can make that hot tag to his partner, who is all set up with a ton of mana and a big finisher to end the match quickly.

Player 1

Notes: The first deck is very no-nonsense. It has some direct-damage and some removal, but mainly it's about playing really big creatures that put on the first burst of offense. But if you get some masks and a tag-team partner, the offense just keeps on giving ...(also note the the creator has included because "the Bee Sting is in honor of the greatest tag team of all time.")

Player 2

Notes: As you can see, the focus of the second deck is on equipping the creatures of deck number one with a little more beef; rather than relying on his own offense, he "combines" his power with the first deck to really pull off some fantastic double-teaming. And, when necessary, he's able to pull out his own "big moves" to rescue his partner.

Hee, this was fun.

Massive says, "And with those masks, you can't tell 'em apart AT ALL!"
