Variants that can be played in Constructed and Limited 

Listed here are the general guidelines for some of the variants that can be played in both limited and constructed formats.  These are variants that require a each player to build their own deck or build a deck from a limited card pool.

10 Point Shield Once you get to 10 life or lower, you can't be seen.
All or Nothing Magic Deal 20 points in one turn or deal nothing.
Allies: Teamwork & Betrayal Team variant but there is only one winner.
Apex Man Two vs. One variant where the one player plays at twice.
Assassins You only get credit for those you are assigned to hunt.
Blitz Fast Magic.

Blitzkrieg Variant of Blitz.
Bullseye You have to bring them exactly to zero or they gain life.
Chaos Every turn roll a dice to see what happens.
Contract Magic You must bid on how many turn it take to kill your opponent. 
Cops vs. Aliens Team variant with unknown partners.
Cutthroat Two vs. One variant.
Diplomacy Magic You must help your opponents to stay alive.
Divine Intervention Teams variant with Gods and Mortals.
Don't Settle for Less Rules for Trading during a game.
Dreams & Nightmares Ever dream of the perfect hand? Want to give your opponent the worst hand?
Emperor 6 Player game with 2 Teams. Protect the Emperor.
Fish Fiddling Want to change a few things about magic?
Five Player Collapse Five Players start. When one dies form teams.
Free for All Multiplayer game where anyone can attack anyone.
Gambling Magic Person with the most poker chips wins.
Hat Multiplayer game where you can only "see" certain people.
High Life with No Mana No Mana and you pay life to play a spell.
Highest Life You may only attack the person with the highest life.
Imperfect Summoning What do you mean "Every Creature has Fading?"
Iron Mage Tournament game. You keep your life from game to game.
Iron Man Go ahead and tear up your opponents cards. It is part of the game.
It You can only hit the person that is IT.
Kangaroo Court Can you argue your case convincingly?
Kill the Man with the Ball If you can keep the ball for 5 turns you win.
Liar's Damage See if you can guess how much damage you will do in one turn.
Lich War You deck is your life. 
Magic Combat with Dice Use dies to determine who wins in combat.
Magic Tech Play Magic using the Battle Tech card game rules.
Magic: The Eternal Struggle Magic played with Vampire: The Eternal Struggle Rules.
Magical War Variant based on Flying Buffalo's Nuclear War
Melee Organized Multiplayer Game Rules for 4-11 players.
Melee, Grand Organized Multiplayer Game Rules for 12+ players.
Midnight Magic Targeted spells have a 50% change of hitting their targets.
Musical Chairs Rotate seats every ten minutes. Fun but silly game. 
Negative Life Even if you go below zero life you are still in the game. To win you must be the only one with life left at the end.
No Land Magic What do you mean we forgot the land?
Randomagic Roll a dice at the end of your turn to see who goes next.
Real Magic Creatures fight with dice and have agility ratings.
Rotate Don't worry if you got the bad deck...you will switch next turn.
Shifter Keep your tokens alive.
Siege One player vs. everyone else.
Slaves Take out players and make them work for you.
Slot Magic You only have certain slots to use for permanents. 
Tag Team Right when I was about to kill him he tagged his partner... 
Teams Rules for 2 vs. 2.
Tug of War Start at zero life and deal damage to gain life. first one to 20 wins.
Two Headed Giant Rules for 2 vs. 2 with shared life.
Vanguard Rule for using Vanguard cards.
Wheel of Fortune 3 Player game. Each contestant tries to win an all expenses paid trip to....er... sorry wrong game.
Zero Sum Multiplayer variant where you life gets shifted from one side to the other.
