This game was announced at E3 2000 for the N64 but time has passed and Star Fox was changed from the dead N64 to the new GCN, and Star Fox Adventures will put the GCN's better hardware to good use.

Star Fox Adventures isn't what you might expect. The game has almost completely changed genre, and is now and adventure/rpg kind of game like zelda, you walk around and meet characters. This might seem weird at first but its actually a good change for the series. But they did add some levels where you will be in your spaceship shooting like in the original games.

In the game Fox will make some allies that will help him out in his adventure, he becomes friends with a small triceratops named Tricky and a blue female fox like character named Krystal. Tricky will follow you around and you will be able to control it, and there will be portions in the game where you will be able to fully control Krystal. Some older characters will also appear like Slippy the frog and Peppy the rabbit.

From a tecnical stand point the game isn't looking as good as other GCN games because this game started as a N64 game, the textures might not look up to standards, thats one of the reasons this game has ben delayed so many times,to make graphical changes. Like recently the added moving hair to fox making him look more realistic, and we might get upset about it now but in the long run I think its good that they delay a game only to make it better.
