Ubi Soft has announced that The Sum of All Fears will be released on the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. The Sum of All Fears is based on the upcoming motion picture and the Tom Clancy book of the same name. This first-person action game will take place in various locations around the world, including South Africa, the Middle East, and West Virginia.

25-APR-02 Need for Speed is coming to the GameCube

Electronic Arts announced that the driving game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 is also in development for the GameCube. The games main mode is about being chased by cops as you try to win a race, but the game has other modes like quick race, single challenge,and championship. The game will probably be released late this year.

10-APR-02 Gamecube will have their own version of Capcom vs. SNK 2.

Capcom announced that it will release Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO for the Nintendo GameCube. The acronym "EO" stands for "easy operation," which refers to the inclusion of the new "GC-ism" option.

This option lets players to assign various special moves to the C stick so they can execute special moves easily. The characters will also guard against their opponent's attacks automatically.
