Earthbound is an RPG unlike any other. Unlike other RPGs Earthbound does not use swords, dragons, wizards, castles, and knights. Instead it uses baseball bats, evil robots, PSI users, normal towns, and kids. In Japan Earthbound was a big hit. They made toys, books, and posters. In America though Earthbound did not sell well and Nintendo made no money off of it. Now that Super Smash Bros. has been relesed with Ness the main character from Earthbound on it Earthbound has become very popular. A complete Earthbound cartrdge may fetch a price up to $200 on ebay.
