Rift's Random Ratings first started off as an occasional movie rating on the Harvest Moon Social on GameFAQs. Eventually it became a popular pass-time for the regular users. Now, we have started saving all the ratings on this web site.

we rate on a scale of 1 to 100. meaning it's far more in-depth than most. and so you don't get angry with the mostly great ratings: we usually don't rate mediocre shows/movies. we only give special recognition to really good, or terrible shows... that and there aren't many mediocre shows out there. they're all either good or terrible lately.
