Count Raiden Naige
upon the death of the original Avatars due to age and Rift III's bloodwork, the world was sent into a deep depression. witchcraft and wars were as rampant as sin. two hundred years later, a nearby warlord attacked the city of Abbadon. pillaging the town and taking many women... including the young Count's fiance. they didn't dare go into the catacombs or graves of the former Avatars. the Count however, had nothing to lose. he searched and found the final resting place of the Vine Ghoul Raiden Charles. upon placing the ring that Rift III put all of Charles' hate into on his finger, the memories and strengths of the hundreds of millions of people Raiden Charles absorbed flooded his head along with the unstoppable hate of the Undead. the young Count then attacked the warlord's castle, and tore apart everyone who got in his way. he then found and rescued his fiance. then rebuilt the city of Abbadon and reformed the House of Abbadon. deciding that he would carry out the will of Abbadon, he would be the law, he would be the candle in the world without a sun. even if he was the only one to do it.
Issonn Johren
being raised in a cottage, miles away from any civilization, he grew up a good kid. and was trained from birth in the Neatherrealm arts by his parents. who were decendants of several Dark Knights of Abbadon. his blood and mind were untainted by the rampant evil spreading across the land. he was utterly mortified when he left home and entered the "holy" kingdom of Ticries. disgusted, he left, and found that everywhere across the entire land of Cron, everyone was like that. it was a despicable world which he was beginning to hate. and then the hate tapped the Magic in his blood, releasing the family Magic, his inheritance was then given to him. a single blue card with a picture of an obelisk on the front. the obelisk pointed the location of other cards, after he collected them all, he used his power to change them. they became more powerful, and their color turned to black. eventually, seven seals circling a lamb appeared on them. Issonn then joined Naige in his crusade to cleanse the world. Issonn became the Deckmaster, the most powerful Card Mage in over a thousand years.
Esira Coban
after the collapse of Abbadon, Etirou's only child left to live outside of his father's reputation. several generations later, when Abbadon was being reformed by the Count, Raiden Naige. a young girl came to the city, claiming to be a master of the forgotten art of Apocalypse. having gained the memories of the Ghoul as well, Naige was able to confirm that she indeed did know the art of Apocalypse. she was given Etirou's training grounds to teach the new generation of Dark Knights. upon entering the city, she pulled the key to the tombs of the other Avatars out of a small box she had with her. she took the sacred Possession blade from Dr. Amelion Benuge's tomb, and the Diamond blade "Epic", which belonged to Michael, the son of Twon. and then eventually, Issonn's curiosity got to him. and he began questioning her every chance he got. finally getting her to reveal that she was a descendant of the legendary Etirou. during this however, she developed a crush on Issonn. though she is very good at hiding it. to Issonn and Naige, it's only a rumor going around the castle servants.
Lina Yenasune
with the return of Abbadon, many people who were tired of the hideous crime rate traveled to Abbadon to become Dark Knights. Lina, a young cat-girl was one of them. Lina was a bit of a delinquent, and was as proud and stubborn as the race stereotype. she was nearly impossible to train, but Esira was determined to prove herself to the other Avatars and eventually did teach Lina discipline. Lina's reflexes and agility made her an extremely powerful warrior. if somewhat dangerous. Lina came to the Avatars hoping to be trained as one of their direct apprentices. Issonn decided to test her abilities in an unarmed fight. at first it appeared that he won with a single kick. but he explained that if they were using weapons, he'd be dead. as he pointed out the scratch from her fingernail on his forehead. Esira decided she would accept Lina as her apprentice. Esira then gave Lina the Ion Talon that belonged to the late Salem Atries. eventually Lina's Avatar status got her a mission in an Elven forest. after saving the Elves from a Gnoll Coven army, they gave her a powerful enchanted oversized Falchion, which she now carries on her back.
Kaeon
with the complete lack of morals, most people were more interested in Magic than technology. but there were a defining few. that didn't really do much for advancing technology other than learning how to screw with human biology. a scientist working with Dr. Amelion Benuge's old work found many loopholes in the Magical realm which he intended to exploit to their fullest, but after his first volunteer died horribly, it took him a long time to find a new one. the young man had just finished growing, and apparently had nothing to lose. after the scientist had operated on the boy, the technological advancement made him extremely fast and almost as strong as the late great Argoth. but he had some advantages the Avatar didn't. mainly the Adamythril plates under his skin, and the Magic making miniature factory in his head. the young man arrived on the Avatar's doorstep one day, calling himself "Kaeon", he quickly gained a position as an Avatar by rather easily defeating Lina Yenasune in a non-death match. appearing harmless and unarmored, he became a secret weapon of the Avatars. though the operation left him with a few unfortunate side-effects, like literally shutting down for eight hours a day. not even the students in Abbadon knew who he was.
