11-1-2002 Post #2 Wes and I have added access to all of the members that have joined and registered in the members only forum. To enter the members only forum first you must login. It's a little blue link in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Then you enter your account name and password and bam you're in. It seems that there is some sort of technical difficulty because the new site isn't linked with the old URL. I'm not sure what exactly is going on. I'll keep you guys informed. So, as I always say, HAIL TO ALL MEMBERS OF GUARDIANS OF HONOR! Well the new site will be on this URL by the end of today. I hope everyone had a great Halloween! I need all members to go to the temporary new site location and register in our new forums. I ask that you don't put a (GOH) at the end when registering for the new forums. There isn't a need for it. As you see my account is simply Cedric and not Cedric(GOH). I'm working on getting the few of you that have already registered at the new forum. I'm waiting for Wes to explain it to me. I logged into the new admin panel and didn't know what I was doing so, I logged out very fast. That forum is FAR more complex when compared to the one we've been using for too long. So, as I always say, HAIL TO ALL MEMBERS OF GUARDIANS OF HONOR! We now have the new site up and running quite well. However, it isn't at our usual URL yet. I have gone ahead and purchased a php hosting service for our new page. I simply need the source code from Khaoz and then bam we're allset. He had found a free php hosting service but we would have lost the http://www.guardiansofhonor.com site url. I just didn't want to move us to a other link. I appreciate all his work. It is well done. Wes I sent you ALL the vitals to access the new site sent to your email. I'll need to know how to update and delete posts in the forums and the such. Billy and I have decided that PIRATE(GOH) will now take the remaining HIGH~LORD rank. If you feel you've been slighted you can email me and we can discuss it. Also, we have a new member in the guild family. His name is Tim and his account name is: AMAZON(GOH). He seems like a great guy and I hope he enjoys his stay with the guild. Welcome! I spoke with JEDIMASTER(GOH) and he has decided to resign his post as the third High~Lord. We will remain great friends as nothing really has changed except he isn't into the guild scene anymore. I feel that that is totally cool. I hope he'll stay in contact with us. You'll be missed friend! So, I wish him the best of luck in his D2 gaming. As for whom will become the next High~Lord that will be determined between BLINKBOY(GOH) and I. We must march on despite the loss. We need to start having guild meetings so that we all can stay in touch and not distance ourselves from each other. Anyone with a LORD rank feel free two recruit two people into the guild. Send me the name of their account and their email to my GOH email box. VEGAS(GOH) is the third acting HIGH~LORD until Billy and I can come to a descision as to whom will be firmly seated in that rank. In the event that VEGAS(GOH) isn't present, KHAOZ(GOH) will act as a HIGH~LORD. The following accounts have been inactive for some time and no one has seen them: JACKBLAQ(GOH), and TERRY(GOH). Wow it's been awile since I updated or played D2 either. Due to situations in my personal life I've been very busy lately and haven't had much chance to play. So, I wouldn't call it a break I'd call it just life. I received email from BLINKBOY(GOH) today. Unfortunately, lightning was apparently bad one night and his house and a neighbor of his their houses were hit directly by lightning. The lightning fried their LAN completely. The ethernet cards were distroyed as well as the router. These things are expensive so I'm not sure when he'll be returning. He wrote me assuring me that he would be at some point. So, I thought I'd let you guys know where and what we've been up to. So, as I always say, HAIL TO ALL MEMBERS OF GUARDIANS OF HONOR! Today we have allied with yet another cool guild. Their name is The Majestic Knights and they seem like a bunch of really cool guys. I have added their link to our site. Check out their site by clicking on the Allies link on our main page.
