Finally, the long awaited end of Adventure 5 aka Episode 50 has been posted. I am planning on posting a special sometime in September before I begin work on Adventure 6 of Woody and Clay. I will probably begin work on new sections of this site soon as well. It's looking like Mayfair doesn't want to publish a variant I made, so I'm going to post it here soon.

Is this the beginning of weekly updates again? I have to admit that 8 days between comic updates is pretty amazing these days. It looks like I might try weekly updates on Thursdays. Come back next week and see if there is any validity to that!

I just updated the Woody and Clay comic as well as the Evil Alliance of Catan. Check out both! I thought I would make up for the last month of not updating by posting two new episodes. I'm going to try to update the site more often. Future plans include a new section on the Settlers of Catan Card Game Expansions.

Wow, there went another two months between updates. At least I get around to updating now and then. Episode 43 of Woody and Clay has been posted. I'm still stuck on how to end the adventure, so it may be awhile before Episode 44 comes out, but hopefully I'm going to reinstate weekly updates again, so come back next week and see if it happens!

I have been busy and let two months slip by between updates do to my work on other projects. Oh well better late than never. This site is still up and kickin'. I posted Episode 42 of Woody and Clay, which isn't impressive but it's something.

Episode 41 of the Adventures of Woody and Clay has finnally been posted. I guess I let a few weeks turn into more than a month. I have been busy recently, but hopefully with summer coming to an end I will return to my regular routine of updating this site weekly. Here are some future plans for this site: Updates to the Settlers of the Stone Age section, Creation of a page for the historical scenarios Alexander the Great and Cheops, and the addition of two variants, which are more my expansions to the regular catan game that I have in the works. Any of these things will likely start being updated within the next couple of weeks. Of course more Episodes of Woody and Clay are planned!

Ep. 40 of Woody and Clay is posted...finnally. So much for weekly updates! I'll try to update biweekly when I'm not busy from now on, hopefully on Sundays. However, with Adventure 4: The Foundation of Catanworld now complete, I need some time to think of a plot for the 5th. By a small mistake Ep. 38 of Woody and Clay never actually was displayed and whatever news message I put up on it's delay was actually pertaining to Ep. 39. Anyway, the important thing is that both episodes can be viewed in the regular sequence of the comic section.

Episode 34 of Woody and Clay comic has been posted. I'm going to try to do near-weekly updates again, because I'm bored and I think I can. Also for fun and for people with a sadistic sence of humor, I've created a new comic strip that will be updated...maybe once every two months or so the Evil Alliance of Catanw. It is accessible through the comic page. I might write a new article soon too.

Episode 32 of the Woody and Clay Comic has been posted. The interesting thing is that while making a new episode tonight, I discovered that Episode 32 hadn't been posted yet. I guess that's what happens when you don't update something for over a month. Anyway, the good news is that Episode 33 is done so as soon as I get the chance, which will probably be next Sunday, I can post it rather than having to think of the plot first.

Mayfair has finnaly translated some of the scenarios in the ultimate catan book we all want but haven't wanted to get because it is still in German. Oh well, at least it's something. In other news, I've been to lazy to think of anything for the comic recently.

Looks like this is probably the last update for 2003 as I break for Christmas. I leave you all hanging with the first episode of the next adventure of Woody and Clay. In other news, I mentioned something about a combined Settlers/Starfarers variant a long time ago. I haven't gotten much chance to playtest it so I think I will make it available by request on my site in January and let the viewers test it themselves.

Woody and Clay's Adventure No. 3: The Creation of Catanworld is now finished. View all three adventures at the comic section of this site. What should you expect in Adventure 4? The introduction of some new characters, the formation of a government, the reappearance of a recent enemy, and loads of "Cities and Knights" references. Perhaps a few new pot jokes as well. I may post the first episode of Adventure 4 next week, otherwise don't expect to see any new updates until January.

Episode 29 of Woody and Clay is up, making Adventures of Woody and Clay officially a year old. I didn't do a special anniversary comic, though maybe I should have. Just be glad, I actually updated and quit whinnin'. Also important to note, that there is only one more episode before the end of Adventure 3. How will it end, will Woody, Clay and Catanman get blow to smitherines, or will they...not?

I finally created the beginnings of a news archive, which is accessable from the bottom of this news page. Bascially all it did was split the 2002 from the 2003 news. I am trying to get the newest episode of Woody and Clay posted, but Windows Me is not agreeing with me right now, so maybe later.

I am now planning on additions to this site regarding 5-6 player expansions for at least the Settlers of Catan. I have episode 22 of Woody and Clay ready to be posted as soon as I feel motivated to do so. Look out for new updates to this site over the next few days. I am finnally going to begin work on the news archive so only the most recent news will appear on this page.

I have been extremely busy and lazy for the last month and haven't updated the site much, let alone the Woody and Clay Catancomic, but I've finnaly got to work on Adventure 3 (Episodes 21-30). Hopefully I will be having weekly updates again. I played Settlers of Catan with five people for the first time recently so I may be putting a page on this site about expansions like that someday. I'm still working on my combined Settlers/Starfarers variant and that may take awhile before I perfect it. I will likely post it as is sometime before September.

I just created a Settlers of the Stone Age section for this site. I just played the game for the first time, and I will update the page as I find new strategies. At some time I will also put a link on the sitemap. For anyone who wishes to know more about this game, I recommend viewing the tutorial on Klaus Teuber's website.

Good news! I just tested the combined Settlers and Starfarers variant I made and it definitely looks workable. I'm going to keep testing and I'll adjust and clarify a few rules and hopefully post it.

Have you ever wanted to combine Settlers and Starfarers? I wrote a new variant last night and will be playtesting and tweaking it for awhile. If all goes well, I will post it on the variants page. Not for a few weeks though. This is the most ambitious variant I have ever come up with aside from Battle Catan, which also needs to be revised before I post it on this site. So keep your eye on the news page for more updates!

My computer has basically crashed. There will not be any new episodes of Woody and Clay until the end of March or perhaps April. As for the site in general, there will be few updates between now and then as I cannot update this from my own computer for the time being.

I'm too busy to update the Woody and Clay comic every week, so it will be updated on Sundays. This site is not getting much traffic right now, so I think this will not affect regular viewers. It is my belief that this site is now large enough that it can sustain itself without my constant updates. I will only be updating Woody and Clay for now and only on Sundays. If you have any input or ideas on what I should add when I resume regular updates, send them to the e-mail on the FAQ page.

I am planning more updates to this site. I have put up a site FAQ and I am experimenting with different background and text colors on that part of the site. I'll see which is better and make the necessary changes at the end of the upgrade period for the whole site. For the time being, all I have planned to add is a sitemap.

Minor fixes made to links in comic strip. I am going to try to do weekly episodes for awhile. I will post a message here if I decide to discontinue this. I am hoping to revise my battle catan variant and put it up here, but it won't be for a long time since I have no means of playtesting it for the next month at least. I am also going to create a news archive sometime soon so only the latest news will be on this exact page.
I want to mention the fact that I'm disappointed that Mayfair doesn't seem to be putting out any new expansions for Settlers of Catan. I've seen some German ones and I'm waiting like many people, I'm sure, for Mayfair to produce an English version or at least stock the German with a translation.
