In-Game Reset:
To return to the title screen, press Start + Select during game play.
Hard Difficulty Setting:
To unlock the hard difficulty setting, complete the game with Dante and Lucia.
Alternate Costumes for Dante:
To unlock an alternate costume, complete the game with Dante using the normal difficulty setting. To unlock his original costume from Devil May Cry, complete the game in Dante Must Die mode.
Alternate Costumes for Lucia:
To unlock an alternate costume for Lucia, complete the game with Lucia. To unlock another costume for her complete the game with her using the hard difficulty setting. To unlock her Arius bodyguard costume, complete the game in Lucia Must Die mode.
Play as Trish:
To unlock Trish, complete the game with Dante using the hard difficulty setting. Trish has Dante's stats and items and starts with the Sparda.
Bloody Palace Mode:
To unlock the Bloody Palace mode, complete the game with Dante and Lucia.
Dante Must Die Mode:
To unlock Dante Must Die mode, complete the game with Dante and Lucia using the hard difficulty setting.
Lucia Must Die Mode:
To unlock Lucia Must Die mode, complete the game with Lucia using the hard difficulty setting.
Level Select:
Complete the game with either character using any difficulty setting.
