Well, I just beat GTA 3, and what can I say...it's just AWESOME!!! Almost all components of the game are a perfect awesome. This game totally shoves it's way onto my list of favorite games. It is right up there with Metal Gear Solid. It's one of those games that makes you stare blankly into space and are in dire need of a druel cup. First, we have the graphics. Now the overall graphics for this game are very good. Although, they do have a few flaws. I have noticed that during gameplay, there are a number of glitches, but nothing to scowl at. Also, besides the glitches, most everything else is awesome. The environment of the game is great. It includes real life effects such as fog, rain and everything else that the real world has. Also, all of the pedestrians have great designs and there is a good variety of them. Each character has a unique design that goes along with their personality. Next, we have the gameplay. What can I say, it's great and just totally versitile. You can do almost anything that you please. You steal any car you want, pick a fight with anyone you want, and pretty much everything else you can do in the real world. There is also a huge variety of missions and miscellaneous things to do. The replayability in this game is almost rediculus. You could play this game over and over and never get bored of it. Even after you beat the game, you can just live as a regular citizen creating havoc wherever you go. Next in line is the frusterating rating. Now there are times in this game when it seems like a controller thrower, but for the most part...it's not. Sure, there are missions that take a few tries to complete, but wouldn't the game just suck if it wasn't hard at all. Final Score: 9.5 |
