A LISTING OF SCRIPTURES RELATED TO HEALING AND HEALTH

The Bible makes a clear statement about God's
willingness to heal disease and it offers guidance for a healthy and prosperous life.
The key to the promises of God is to know and practice His word.
As stated in Proverbs 4:20: My son, pay attention to what I say, listen closely to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health (or medicine) to a mans' whole body.
Hosea 4:6 states: my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

One key factor that activates the promises of God, including healing, is the ingredient of faith.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.
(Hebrews 11:1) Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6) Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)

The instructions are clear for the believer seeking healing and health, one must know what God has said about the subject, and one must transform the written word (logos) to the spoken word in the spirit or the heart (rhema).
This is where the force of faith is produced upon hearing and meditating on the word of God. Then one can ask God for healing and act upon the promise as if the need is met.
(Mark 11:22-25) For faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:17).
An important point is to act according to the current manifestation of the thing desired.
One can confess the promises of healing but still continue taking medication until the proven physical manifestation of the healing is evident. This will not nullify faith.

Traditional medical care should be sought by the ill or injured Christian at the same time faith is being built by meditating and hearing God's promises on healing.
Faith is a dynamic force that may require time to develop to the level needed to allow the actual healing manifestation.
In the interval time when the healing is not physically manifest, medicines, glasses, aids, surgery and all modern medicine has to offer should be aimed at the invading illness and none should be discontinued until directed by a physician.

To the believer, there is acknowledgement that all healing is from God through the channel of known medical means that assist each individuals' divinely designed defenses or by God's direct miracle working power.
In the words of Jesus,"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."(Luke 5:31 NIV).
We are to combat sickness as an invasion of God's temple using our spiritual weapons first followed by known medical treatments.

MINISTERING HEALING
If you are ministering to the sick, you must follow Jesus's example:
1. Teach God's word about His wiliness to heal and that healing was provided with our salvation on calvary. This will build faith for faith comes by hearing.
2. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and knowledge how to minister to the individual. There are several methods recorded how Jesus and his disciples ministered healing including:
- Laying on of hands and in Jesus name speak healing (Mark 16:15)
- Speaking the word of life and regeneration (Luke 7:2)
- Casting out demons if the Holy Spirit reveals this as the cause.(Mark 16:15)
- Pray in the Spirit (Romans 8:26)
- Anoint with oil and pray in faith (James 5:14)
- The manifestation of the gifts of healings or of miracles as one of the nine manifestations of the Spirit (ICorinth. 12)
- Anointing cloth and placing it on the sick. (Acts 19:11)
3. Remove any hinderances to Gods power such as:
- Lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)
- Lack of forgiveness (Mark 11:25)
- Lack of faith (Matt. 13:58)
- Fear (II Tim. 1:7)
- Sin (I John 1:7-10)
- Occult practices (Lev 20:6-27)
- Lack of Agape love (ICorinth 13, Gal 5:6)
- Get out of Satan's kingdom of darkness and become a child of God by receiving Jesus Christ as your savior, substitute and healer. (Romans 10, Col
4. Minister out of the love, compassion and mercy of Christ, for his glory and not your own.
Always give God the glory for it is his power, we are only yielded vessels.
5. Healing may manifest immediately or over time.
We walk by faith and not by sight. Keep the switch of faith on until manifestation appears.
Praise God for your healing even though it is not manifested in the flesh.
Keep your confession in line with God's word.
Medical care and medicine will not hinder faith and should be administered to combat the symptoms while faith is growing.

IN THE BEGINNING
Physical death and sickness resulted from Adam's disobedience
. Adam and Eve where made in God's image, a three part being of the body or flesh, soul or intellect, and spirit (1Thes 5:23).
Adam had access to the tree of eternal life and was told not to partake of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
When the two were deceived by Satan's lies to partake of the forbidden fruit they suffered spiritual death and the earth became cursed.
Sickness, demonic oppression, separation from God, and loss of eternal life all entered the earth.

GENESIS
1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth . .
1:26 Then God said "let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
1:31 God saw all that he had made and it was very good.
2:9 In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
2:16 And God commanded the man,"You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.
3:4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
3:17 To Adam he (God) said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, `You must not eat of it', Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."

EXODUS
God made a promise to his people to remove sickness and miscarriages from them if they would obey his commands.
15:26 There the Lord made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them. He said,"If you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you."
When Moses led the thousands of his people out of Egypt, Psalm 105:37 states and from among their tribes no one faltered . . there was no sickness among them.
23:25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

LEVITICUS
The law given to Moses listed specific instructions on the proper food to eat resembling the recommendations of the American Heart Association today.
The isolation of infectious diseases prevented spread just as we use precautions in the medical setting to prevent disease spread through proper washing.
Spiritual health was maintained by avoiding the occult and wrong sexual relationships.
7:22 The Lord said to Moses,"Say to the Israelites: do not eat any of the fat of cattle sheep or goats."
11: Clean and unclean food
13: Regulations about infectious skin diseases.
14: Regulations for cleansing from infectious skin diseases.
15: Unlawful sexual relations ( including homosexuality).
19:13 No mediums or spiritualist (20:6,27 also).

NUMBERS
In Numbers, sin or rebellion caused Miriam to become leprous and the Israelites were attacked by venomous snakes in the desert.
Both were healed after repenting.
12:13 And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, heal her now, O God, I beseech thee. (Miriam had become leprous after criticizing Moses)
21:8 The Lord said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live."
23:19 God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should change his mind.

DEUTERONOMY
God provided healing, health, and prosperity to the Israelites if they would obey his law.
We today are under a far better covenant and have Gods law written in our heart and have his Holy Spirit within us to help us keep his laws.
If we will walk in God's agape love, we fulfill the law and the promises are ours.
7:11 Therefore, take care to follow the commands, decrees, and laws I give you today.
28:1-14 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.
[2] All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:
[3] You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
[4] The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock--the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
[5] Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
[6] You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
[7] The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
[8] The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
[9] The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways.
[10] Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you.
[11] The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity--in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground--in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.
[12] The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
[13] The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
[14] Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
30:2 and when you and your children return to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart and with all our soul according to everything I command to you today, then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you. v15 See I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command to you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you.
32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver you out of my hand.
31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

JOSHUA
If we are ill, we are to meditate and speak out of our mouths Gods word for healing. This will build faith in our hearts.
1:7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

II KINGS
Naaman acted in faith to the strange command of God's servant Elisha. God's ways are higher than our ways and our logic must not interfere with our obedience to God's command. God honors obedience and he honors prayer as in the healing of Hezekiah
5:1-14 Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the LORD had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy.
[2] Now bands from Aram had gone out and had taken captive a young girl from Israel, and she served Naaman's wife.
[3] She said to her mistress, "If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy."
[4] Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said.
[5] "By all means, go," the king of Aram replied. "I will send a letter to the king of Israel." So Naaman left, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold and ten sets of clothing.
[6] The letter that he took to the king of Israel read: "With this letter I am sending my servant Naaman to you so that you may cure him of his leprosy."
[7] As soon as the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his robes and said, "Am I God? Can I kill and bring back to life? Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me!"
[8] When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his robes, he sent him this message: "Why have you torn your robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel."
[9] So Naaman went with his horses and chariots and stopped at the door of Elisha's house.
[10] Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, "Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed."
[11] But Naaman went away angry and said, "I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.
[12] Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than any of the waters of Israel? Couldn't I wash in them and be cleansed?" So he turned and went off in a rage.
[13] Naaman's servants went to him and said, "My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, 'Wash and be cleansed'!"
[14] So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.
20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. I will add 15 years to your life.

II CHRONICLES
God is faithful to protect and fulfil his promises to his children who seek him and fellowship with him.
6:14 O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.
7:14 If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
16:12 In the 39th year of his reign, Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness, he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians. Then in the 41st year of his reign Asa died and rested with his fathers.
30:18 But Hezekiah prayed for them saying,"May the Lord who is good, pardon everyone who sets his heart on seeking God-the Lord,the God of his fathers-even if he is not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary." And the Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

JOB
Job was born upon the cursed earth where Satan is ruler.
Adam gave his earthly dominion to Satan when he sinned in the garden.
The book of Job demonstrates mans need for a savior, a healer, a mediator, a priest and an advocate.
Satan is a liar and the father of lies.
There was no hedge of protection around Job and his family.
Job was acting in fear for his family and not in faith in God's protection.
There is a shield of faith that is made inoperable by fear.
This left Job in Satan's hands and God could intervene for Job's life.
We see that Satan's goal for God's children is to kill rob and destroy our lives using sickness as a means to do this.
When Job repented and stood in faith God could restore and bless him.
1:1 This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.
1:9 "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied. "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has and he will surely curse you to your face." The Lord said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in YOUR hands but on the man himself do not lay a finger."
2:4 Satan replied,"A man will give all he has for his own life. But stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face."
2:6 The Lord said to Satan, "Very well then, he is in YOUR hands; but you must spare his life." So Satan afflicted Job with sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.
3:25 What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. (fear is faith in the thing you desire not to happen instead of faith in God's promises)
9:32-35 "He is not a man like me that I might answer him, that we might confront each other
[33] If only there were someone to arbitrate between us, to lay his hand upon us both,
[34] someone to remove God's rod from me, so that his terror would frighten me no more.
[35] Then I would speak up without fear of him, but as it now stands with me, I cannot.
13:3 But I desire to speak to the Almighty and to argue my case with God. You (his"friends"), however, smear me with lies; you are worthless physicians, all of you.
13:15 Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him.
23:10 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
Elihu- The forth man (Daniel 3:25) speaks truth by God's Holy Spirit
33:19-30 Job needs a mediator.
33:23-28 "Yet if there is an angel on his side as a mediator, one out of a thousand, to tell a man what is right for him,
[24] to be gracious to him and say, 'Spare him from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for him'--
[25] then his flesh is renewed like a child's; it is restored as in the days of his youth.
[26] He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God's face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state.
[27] Then he comes to men and says,'I sinned, and perverted what was right, but I did not get what I deserved.
[28] He redeemed my soul from going down to the pit, and I will live to enjoy the light.
34:35 Elihu- "Job speaks without knowledge, his words lack insight. Oh, that Job might be tested to the utmost for answering like a wicked man! To his sins he added rebellion; scornfully he clasps his hands among us and multiplies his words against God."
36:8 But if men are bound in chains, held fast by cords of affliction, he tells them what they have done that they have sinned arrogantly. He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil. If they will obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
42:1 Then Job replied to the Lord: "I know that you can do all things; v6. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes."
42:12 The Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first.

PSALMS
God promises us a peace that passes all understanding when we walk by faith in his love and his protection.
We should have peaceful sleep, deliverance from all attacks, and health when we walk by faith and not by sight.
Jesus provided forgiveness for our sins and healing for our bodies by his work on the cross.
We must rest by faith in what he has done for us.
4:8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
34:17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. v19 A righteous man may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all.

41:3 The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.
42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
90:10 The length of our days is seventy years or eighty, if we have the strength
91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
107:17 Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction (sickness) because of their iniquities (sins).
18 They loathed all food and drew near to the gates of death.
19 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
20 He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.
113:9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.
116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
127:2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-- for he grants sleep to those he loves.
145:8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

PROVERBS
God's word is medicine. Faith in his word brings healing and health.
We can maintain divine health by meditating, speaking and walking inHis word continuously, when we have symptoms or not.
We can talk our way into sickness and death or we can have God's abundant life on our lips.
3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down your sleep will be sweet
4:20 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health (medicine) to a man's whole body.
12:18 Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death.
21:23 He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity.

ISAIAH
Isaiah prophesied the coming messiah, Jesus, would do a two fold work on the cross.
He would suffer the punishment for our sins and provide the eternal sacrifice for our redemption.
Second, he would carry our physical pain and sickness providing healing for our physical bodies.
This mission was confirmed by Jesus in Matthew 8:16 and 1 Peter 2:24 that both state "by his stripes we were healed."
Healing was provided for us when our salvation was provided for nearly 2000 years ago on Calvary.
6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
35:3 Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you." Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer and the tongue of the dumb shout for joy.
43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

JEREMIAH
1:12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
30:13 There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

MALACHI
3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not
3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

MATTHEW
Jesus is the word manifested in flesh doing the fathers will.
To understand the Father's will about healing and our response to the sick, we should notice that Jesus healed all those who were sick with disease or demon oppression.
The only recorded failure of healing was due to a lack of faith in his home townspeople.
The mixture of the Holy Spirit's anointing upon Jesus and faith brought healing consistently.
Jesus would teach and preach to the people to build their faith and then extend the healing power of God the Father through the Holy Spirit.
We also see that some diseases where manifestations of demon oppression and possession.
To those Jesus brought deliverance.
We are commanded to do the works that Jesus did and even greater ones than those recorded below.
4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
8:1-17 When he came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him.
[2] A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."
[3] Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his leprosy.
[4] Then Jesus said to him, "See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
[5] When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
[6] "Lord," he said, "my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering."
[7] Jesus said to him, "I will go and heal him."
[8] The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
[9] For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
[10] When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, "I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
[11] I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
[12] But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
[13] Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! It will be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that very hour.
[14] When Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw Peter's mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.
[15] He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
[16] When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
[17] This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: "He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases."
9:1-8 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.
[2] Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."
[3] At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, "This fellow is blaspheming!"
[4] Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, "Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?
[5] Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?
[6] But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. . . ." Then he said to the paralytic, "Get up, take your mat and go home."
[7] And the man got up and went home.
[8] When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men.
9:12 Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick.
9:20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for 12 years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said,"your faith has healed you. (MARK 5:25-29)
9:28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him and he asked them, "Do you believe I am able to do this?" "Yes, Lord,"they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said,"According to your faith will it be done unto you;"and their sight was restored.
9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
10:7 As you go preach this message: The kingdom of heaven is near. Heal the sick raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.
11:4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
12:10 And a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, they asked him, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?" He said to them,"If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." Then he said to the man,"Stretch out your hand." So he stretched it out and it was completely restored.
12:15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
12:22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
13:57 And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them,"Only in his home town and his own house is a prophet without honor." And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
14:35 People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.
15:21-28 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
[22] A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession." Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us." He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said. He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs." "Yes, Lord," she said, "but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
15:30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
15:31 The people were amazed when they saw the dumb speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking, and the blind seeing.
16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
17:15 "Lord, have mercy on my son,"he said."He is an epileptic and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him." "O unbelieving and perverse generation,"Jesus replied."How long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me." Jesus rebuked the demon and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked,"Why couldn't we drive it out?" He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
19:2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
20:32 Jesus stopped and called them."What do you want me to do for you?" he asked."Lord," they answered,"We want our sight." Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.
21:14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
1:40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
43 And he straightly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;
44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
2:1-12 A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home.
[2] So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them.
[3] Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them.
[4] Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on.
[5] When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
[6] Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves,
[7] "Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
[8] Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, "Why are you thinking these things?
[9] Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, take your mat and walk'?
[10] But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. . . ." He said to the paralytic,
[11] "I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home."
[12] He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this!"
3: 1-6 Another time he went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there.
[2] Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath.
[3] Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, "Stand up in front of everyone."
[4] Then Jesus asked them, "Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they remained silent.
[5] He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored.
[6] Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.
3:10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
4:26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed (seed = the word) into the ground;
27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
6:5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
6:13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them and he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
6:56 And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.
7:32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
8:22 And he cometh to Bethsaida: and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
9:17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
10:51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
16:15 He said to them. "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes in their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not harm them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.(NIV)

4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
4:23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
4:40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
5:12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.
9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 and he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
9: 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.
9:42 And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.
10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10:18 He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
13:10 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for 18 years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her , he called her forward and said to her, "woman, you are set free from your infirmity." Then he put his hands on her and she immediately straightened up and praised God. v16. "Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eight long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?"
13:14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
14:3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;
17:12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that,as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
18:27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
18:35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
22:51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

JOHN
4:47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
52 Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.
12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son will bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

ACTS
3:1 One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer--at three in the afternoon.
[2] Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
[3] When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
[4] Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!"
[5] So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
[6] Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."
[7] Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong.
[8] He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.
[9] When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
[10] they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
4:30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
5:16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
9:33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
9:36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and alms deeds which she did.
37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
10:38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.
39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
14:9 The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, called out' "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.
19:11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul. Handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
27:34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
28: 8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him. So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:
28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

ROMANS
We are to call those things we can not see with our natural eyes as though the are real, this is the God kind of faith in action. Speak forth healing and body restoration in faith that it will take place. We must believe we received when we prayed. Our confession with our mouth has a major role in bringing forth manifestation.
4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
10: 8 The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is the wordof faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Saved = sozo = spiritual/physical deliverance, wholeness, healing, protection, and eternal life)

I CORINTHIANS
11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; (The 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit).
12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

II CORINTHIANS
Sickness is a stronghold of the enemy that must be brought down using God's weapons: the name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of God. These are launched at the enemy by prayer, praise, testimony, and preaching. The Word of God states that we were healed by Jesus stripes.
10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

GALATIANS
Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law which included illness. Our inheritance is the blessings described in Deuteronomy chapter 28.
3:12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

EPHESIANS
3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

PHILIPPIANS
Sickness, Satan, and demons must submit to the name of Jesus.
2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
[5] Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
[6] Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
[7] And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
[8] Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
[9] Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

COLOSSIANS
1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

I TIMOTHY
2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (Saved = sozo = spiritual/physical deliverance, wholeness, healing, protection, and eternal life)

II TIMOTHY
1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

JAMES
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
5:14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.
5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I PETER
2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

II PETER
3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

I JOHN
3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

III JOHN
1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

REVELATION
22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

WHO I AM BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB
I am made in God's image. I am a spirit being with a soul living in a physical body. I have dominion over the earth, the elements, birds, the animals, the fish in the sea. (Gen.1:26-28, Ps 8, IThes5:23)

I am a partaker of His divine nature through His word and His pre- cious promises, for his divine power has given me every thing I need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him. (2Pet.1:4,1John3:9)

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, my old nature is gone. I am His workmanship created in Christ Jesus, I am born again, born of His Spirit, born of God. I am a child of God and He is my father. (IICorinth.5:17,Eph2:10,John1:12,3:1-10,IJohn3:1,5:1)

I have eternal life. I am a citizen of Heaven and a member of God's household. I am a joint heir with Jesus, and I am seated with him in the heavenly realms where He is far above all rule and authority, power and dominion and every title that can be given. And God has placed all things under Jesus feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church. I am a member of His body, the church. (John3:16,5:24, 6:47-58,Rom6:23,8:13, Ephes1:21,2:6,2:19, Phil3:20, IJohn 2:25, 5:11)

My prayers are effective and I am heard by the Father every time because I pray to the Father in Jesus name. I ask accord ing to His word which reveals His perfect will. I know that I have my requests granted in Jesus mighty name. (James 5:16, Mark 11:24; Psalm 34:17,91:5, Matt 7:7,21:22; John 16:23; IJohn 5:14)

I am strong and courageous. I am careful to obey all the law, I will not turn to the left or right of it so I may be suc- cessful wherever I go. I will not let the Book of the Law depart from my mouth, but I meditate/mumble it day and night so I will be careful to do every thing written in it. Then my way will be prosperous and successful. The Lord my God will be with me wherever I go. (Joshua 1:4-9)

I will walk in love, for in this I fulfill the law. I am loved by God as Jesus was in his earthly walk. (Rom 13:10; John 14:21; IJohn 4:7 )

I am protected, The lord is my refuge and my fortress. The angel of the lord encamps about me for I fear/reverence the Lord. No harm will befall me and no disaster will come near my dwelling for He commands his angels to guard me in all my ways. (Psalm 91, 34)

No weapon formed against me will prosper. The weapons of my war fare have divine power to demolish evil strongholds cast ing down the lies of Satan that hide the true knowledge of God, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. My weapons include the Name of Jesus, the Word of God, the Blood, the authority of binding and loosing, prayer unto my Father, praise unto my Father, and the greater one who lives in me, the Holy Spirit. I daily put on the whole armor of God. (Isa 54:17, Matt 18:18; Ephes 6:10; IICorinth 10:3; IJohn 4:4)

I have the mind of Christ.(ICorinth2:16)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The joy of the Lord is my strength. (Phil 4:13 Neh 8:10)

I am a citizen of Heaven awaiting the transformation of my body to be like Christ's glorious body.(Eph2:19, Phil3:20)

I have overcoming power through the Holy Spirit. I desire the gifts of the Spirit to operate in me as the Spirit wills to heal, prophecy, edify with supernaturally revealed knowledge wisdom and spiritual discernment, to perform miracles, speak in tongues and interpret, and act with supernatural faith. I will produce fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithful ness, gentleness, and self control.(Acts1:8, 2:58, Eph3:20, John14:16, Gal5:22, Isa40:31, Phil 4:13, Col1:11, Luke 11:13, IICorinth1:22, IITim1:7)

I am to do the works of Jesus and even greater ones. I will destroy the works of the devil because I have His anointing with the Holy Spirit and power. In Jesus name I will cast out demons, I will speak in new tongues, I will not be harmed by any deadly poison, and I will lay hands on the sick and they will recover (John14:12, Mark16:15, Acts 10:38)

I do not have the spirit of fear, God has given me the spirit of power, love and of sound mind (IITim1:7)
I am of God and have overcome Satan by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. For greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I have been rescued from the dominion of darkness. Satan has NO authority over me. Jesus stripped Satans power and authority from him mak ing a public spectacle of him triumphing over him by the cross. I have authority to overcome all the power of the enemy and nothing will harm me. I will resist the devil and he will flee from me. (Rev12:11, IJohn4:4, Col1:13, 2:15, Luke10:19, James4:7)

Whatever I do will prosper for I am like a tree that's planted by the rivers of water. My God will meet all my needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. He became poor that through his poverty I might become rich. I will seek His kingdom and His righteousness and God will supply my needs. I have given and it is given unto me good measure, pressed down, running over will men give unto me. I have sown abundantly and will reap abundantly. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. (Psalms 1:3, 23:1; Matt 6:33; Luke 6:38; IICorinth 8:9, 9:6; Phil 4:19)

By His stripes and His blood I'm healed, He bore my pain, sin and sickness on the cross. He has forgiven all my sins and healed all my diseases. Sickness has no place in me just as my old sin nature is gone. (Isa53, Psalm103:3, Matt8:17, IPeter2:24).

Through God's abundant provision of grace and the gift of righ- teousness, I will reign in life through Jesus Christ. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. My prayers are powerful and effective because I am his righteous ness. I am God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. (Rom 5:17, Eph 2:8, IICorinth 5:21, James 5:16)

I have been saved by grace through faith as a gift from God. His power is at work within me to do immeasurably more than I can ask or imagine. I have the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints and His incomparably great power for us who believe. (Eph 1:19, 2:8, 3:20,)

I am redeemed from the curse of the law which includes sickness, poverty, and spiritual death. The blessings of God are mine. There is now no condemnation because I am in Christ. I am free from the law of sin and death. (Gal 3:13, Duet 28, Rom 8:1)

I am the temple of the Holy Spirit made holy by the blood of Jesus (ICorinth 3:16, IICorinth 13:5)

If God be for me, who can come against me, He gave up His own son for all of us. Nothing can separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved us. (Rom 8:31-37)
I will not worry, for my Father knows my needs before I ask him. I will cast all my cares on him. (Matt 6:25, IPet 5:7)

I am Holy and a royal priest with Jesus being my great high priest at the right hand of God. IPet 2:5, 2:9, Heb4:14)

I will speak unto the mountains of circumstances that stand in my way with faith filled words, believing what I say will happen. Whatever I ask for in prayer, believing I have received it, it will be mine. I refuse to have doubt in my heart, but I speak God's word continually to raise my faith level, for the God kind of faith cometh by hearing.(Mark 11:22, Rom 10:17)
