Mars Charter Section A- Admittance Article I- Admittance is open to anyone who stumbles upon our webpage or clan channel in B. Net until 10 people are in admittance Article II-The Clan's password is mars, which must be in their name (Eg. Marsjudicator, Mars_ultralisk) Free admittance is then permitted to the clan base. Article III- All and any personnel must evacuate the base until the Judicator is in. Section B- Clan Website Article I- The clan's website is http://www.angelfire.com/games3/starcraftclanmars Any new maps, along with strategy, ect. Will be posted there. Article II- The judicator must update the site at least once a month. Section C- Weekly events Article I- Every Friday, a quiz will be taken to determine the clan's slackers and dissidents. Failing (Getting the lowest score on) a quiz means you won't be allowed to participate in the next two battles. Getting the highest score on a quiz will give you 1 point (See section H) Article II- On every Friday, and either Saturday or Sunday, a battle will take place. All battles will be called either "Mars" or "Marsclan". The password will always be "Mars" Section D-Amending/Changing the Charter- Article I- The judicator may, at any time, change the charter. Article II- A 2/3 Conclave vote will overturn the judicator's ruling or create a change. Section E- Ratification Article I- This charter (Written 4/23/01) Must be ratified by 6/1/01. 3/4 of the current members must initial the original copy. Section F- Conclave The Conclave rules over the clan, with only the judicator himself over it. The conclave is assembled, in order of power, below. 1.Judicator 2.Grand Executor of the Fleet 3.Grand Executor of the Army 4.High Templar 5.Dark Templar 6-12.Executors 1-8 Article II- The Judicator is always the most powerful, and can be overturned in battle. Grand Executors are the 1st and 2nd in point rankings (See Section H) Templar (High and Dark) are positions appointed by the Judicator Executors 1-8 are 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th places in the points rankings. Article III- No one may hold more than one position. If the Judicator is 1st in points, the next highest person will be Grand Executor of the Fleet. Section G-Militant Positions Article I- In battle, clan members should pertain to chiefly, but not solely to their rank. (Eg. Air Force, air units; Marines, ground units) Article II- All the people in one rank will ally in "Civil war" games. Article III- You must obey your superior's decisions. A Major may not rival a General. You can choose whether or not to obey your superiors in other ranks. The ranks are below- Air force Army Marines Builds: Air Units Both Ground Units Positions can be found in the downloads section of the home page. Section H- Points Article I- 1 point is awarded for having the highest quiz score 5 points are awarded for a win in battle 3 points for a draw 0 points for a loss The standings can be found in Standings on the home page AMENDMENTS Section F/H, Article IV- The Conclave dictates awarding points, therefore, someone playing with cheap tactics will not recieve as many points. Selfless defence may earn you points. (Teamwork!) SUBSECTION 1, Article IV, Section F/H One Conclave member will have to preside over battles, usually the loser of the quiz. This "observer" will report to the Conclave any actions worthy of notice. Section F- Article V If the Conclave is tied in a vote, any non-conclave members will vote. If there are none, the Judicator will sit out. If there is a tie in the non-conclave, the Judicator will sit out Section F- Article VI The judicator's reponsibilities include- A. Updating and Upgrading the site in any way possible B. Bannings (with reason) C. Calling together the conclave to make updates to everything The High Templar's responsibilities include- A. Working as a scribe for the charter and any law/rule passed by the conclave. B. Scribing the wins and losses on word or wordpad so there is a backup copy if something happens C.Scribing law passed by the Judicator or the Conclave with dates D.If the judicator doesn't or is unable to, to take the reins of the webpage The Dark Templar's responsibilities include- A. Watching over the clan B. Reporting any illegal activity as outlined below- Illegal means banned by the conclave The Grand Executor's responcibilities include- A. To create strategies for the webpage B. Alternating as observers if something goes awry with the quizzes Executor's responcibilities include- A.Simply voting in the Conclave. The executors make up the representation of the clan outside the Conclave The High templar can only take control of the page if either condition is met. The only time that the Judicator is unable to use the webpage is if he/she doesn't have an understanding of HTML or doesn't have Frontpage. EXCEPTION-The High Templar must write commentary on the battle, unless he/she refuses. In that case, whom ever is willing to do it does it. Section F-Article VII The Conclave must, at any time nessisary, take away the Judicator's power. This can happen A. If 3/4 of the Conclave votes to "impeach" for lack of better words the Judicator or if B. He has violated from the Charter. This Charter cannot be changed so much that the Judicator or conclave is abolished, or the conclave or Judicator has supreme power, This Amendment is written in stone and cannot be changed by the Conclave or the Judicator Section F-Article VIII The conclave's duty is simply to make sure the webpage, charter, quizzes and everything else run by the Judicator is just and up to date. Also, the Conclave can strech itself over loopholes in this charter. The conclave also will hold trials for anyone violatating from this Charter. Every member in the Conclave must have the Charter at hand on their computers. This prevents losses.
