Hmmm.... lemme see here... if I gave this to just anybody I don't know what they would think of it. But if you give this to a true Sonic fan then they would never ever ever part with this. Yes, its true. This thing has everything on Sonic from 1991 to today. Sort of anyway. But 10 years is a long time to know everyones favorite hyperactive hegdehog, and without him I doubt Genesis/MegaDrive would be as good as it was. I don't think they would have gave Nintendo such a hard time anyway with the battle against the evil SNES (yes, I am kidding. Don't hate me). But I loved my Genesis. When people were out buying Link to the Past and Super Mario World, I was buying Sonic the Hedgehog.

You get a cool coin that is made of some gold or something. It shows Sonic of couse and the 10th anniversary logo. You also get a cool book that tells a bit of Sonic history on it. It tells about Sonic things you may have not known about. For example when McDonalds ran out of all their 40 million Happy Meal toys which were based on the game Sonic the Hegdehog 3 halfway through the run. It also tells of not one, but 2 tales of Sonic'c birth. And it is said that there is 2 more stories on it to. This confuses me to no end...

The music cd here contains some of the greatest Sonic music ever from the past 10 years. 22 tracks are included ranging from the classic "Green Hill Zone" to the more recent tracks of Sonic Adventure 2. Now to see what I think of the music. Not that anyone cares what I think anyway. Uh... lets continue.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Title Music: If you don't know how this song goes then I would look at you as if you were some sort of freak. Basicaly the same way you would be looking at me. This is the classic Sonic title screen end even though it only lasts 10 seconds, it has been remembered for over 10 years.10/10
Green Hill Zone: The best of all 16 bit tunes? I think so. Even people who never played Sonic before think this music is very good. I know someone who whistles this song whenever he hears it and he is not even a very big Sonic fan. This must be the best classic tune on the cd, and also one that Sonic is remembered for the most. 10/10
Star Light Zone: After Green Hill, this one may come in a second. But results may vary as they say. A peacefull song in a stage that everyone loves. Star Light Zone Act 3 also just happens to be my favorite Sonic 1 level.9/10
Special Stage:
Final Zone:
All Clear: This is just a remake of the title screen. It is slightly longer, but still incredebly short. It is also not as remembered as the original but still a pleasure to listen to. 10/10

Casino Night:

Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic and Knuckles

Sonic CD

Sonic- You Can Do Anything: When I first heard this I was all like, "What the hell is this!?". With very weird lyrics like "Vroom! Vroom! Cosmic Zoom! Heads up hey now Sonic Boom!". I laughed my ass off when I first heard that. Get past that and you will see that this is just a short and simple song that I happen to like. I hate the lyrics as they don't make any sence, but the actual music is good. Watch out for the singers though. 8/10
Cosmic Eternity- Believe in Yourself: This song has bad lyrics like the above song but not as bad. That does not mean it is good though. The song itself is not that good either. I guess Sonic CD was known for music like this... 7/10

Sonic R

Super Sonic Racing: I heard this song before. I thought it sucked. Now I guess it must have grown on me from listening to it so many times. So this is the music of Sonic R eh? I bet they play this while you race but I have never played that game before so I would not really know. 8/10
Can You Feel the Sunshine: I fell asleep during this song the first time. Now I like it. Not something I would listen to normaly but this is Sonic music. And that is alright right? 8/10
Number One:The same as the other two Sonic R tracks. Sort of interesring, not something you would normaly listen to, and not really all that great. It is some sort of love song even though it seems like it has something to do with coming in first or something.8/10

Sonic Adventure

Open Your Heart: Oh yeah! Now here we go! After all the songs you listened to so far this one comes along and makes you love the cd all over again. I just think this song rocks. I found myself listening to this song more times than any other song on the cd. You have heard it before if you ever played Sonic Adventure. I have just one last thing to say... Gotta Open Your Heart Dude! 10/10
My Sweet Passion: Either you like it, or hate it. I hate it. Some people like it though. What kind of people? Girls mostly. I can see why they like it but I don't. While I would give it a very low score they would give it a very high score. Erg...5/10

Sonic Adventure 2

SA2 Vox Trax- Note: this is just a bunch of SA2 songs combined into one giant track. The songs include It Doesen't Matter, City Escape, Believe in Myself, Unknown From M.E., Fly in the Freedom, Throw it all Away, Plotting my Schemes, and Live and Learn. Starting off with the famous whistle from It Doesen't Matter, and going on to another great SA2 tune, City Escape. It Doesen't Matter is just a tune from SA that is sung diffrently. Better in my opinion. City Escape is the song everyone hears while playing SA2. Not only is it a great song, it is also played during one of the best levels in the game. Believe in Myself is next. It is not as good as the last 2 though. Unknown from M.E. is another attempt at trying to do rap for Knuckles. It did not work before, and it still does not work. Another thing, Jazz and rap don't seem to work with me. Fly in the Freedom could be a great song as well. If you were a girl anyway. I am not so I don't know what to say about this. At least it is short. Throw It All Away rules. As cool as Shadow itself is. I have to face this song again and again again. Plotting my Schemes is a song that is sung almost the same as the song E.G.G.M.A.N. You know the Eggman song. Stay away. And last, is Live and Learn. This is my favorite SA2 song. It seems to be everyone elses favorite too. Very cool. If not for tunes like Plotting my Schemes and such, this would have gotten a perfect 10. 8/10
