Goldeneye 007

Released in 1997

Object of the game:To stop an former 00 agent from taking over the world.

The Names Bondo... Jimmy Bondo

Originaly planned to be a shooter on rails, glad that did not happenGoldeneye 007 proved that FPS can be done on consoles. And done quite well I beleve. You get your mission brefings first, and then its off to shoot guys and blow stuff up.But that is not something you want to do it you want to finish the game. You cant just go in there and fire off your RCP-90 like you are some sort of god or something. You have to sneak in there and learn how to aim properly.Except for the Klobb. If you learn how to aim using a Klobb, then you are something special. But why would you even be using this gun?heh heh.Making fun of the Klobb never gets boring. What is this, some sort of a joke weapon?

Anyway, you must sneak around because you are Bond.James Bond. The main object of the game is not to contact Jack Wade. But if it was,the game would be more strange. If I remember correcty,Jack Wade is some old fat guy who wears a Hawian shirt.shudderGo play the game and find out the story for yourself. But you should have already played the game or watched the movie.

But the thing that really makes this game shine brightly is the multiplayer.Nothing beats 4 people shooting the crap out of each other using the tactics they learned in the single player game only to be blown up by a well hidden Proximity Mine.Or trying to kill someone with a Klobb.Nothing is more embarising than death by Klobb.

I prefer to have mine shaken and stired

Graphics:The graphics are good.Very good for a game this old.The backgrounds are nice and I dont think that there are any complaints about them.Except that some people look blocky.9/10

Sound:James Bond theme! The music are good, but wont be stuck in your head for anytime. The bullets and sounds of people getting shot gets anoying at times.8/10

Control:Its a FPS.What were you expecting? You need to straft and it takes some time to aim properly until you can get that all important head shot mastered. But one problem with the control is no matter how many times you try,you just cant aim properly with a Klobb.Die evil Klobb!9/10

How Fun Is It?:Very fun.Especialy with a couple of cheats turned on.I mean the good cheats. You dont want no radar turned on it you are not playing multiplayer. You will die a million times trying to beat the game but will have a fun time doing it.The mulitplayer shows you how to have a gay old time.Fred Flintstone would be a good playable character. Can you see it?10/10

Fruit:Once again,I am disapointed. No fruit or references to fruit anywhere. Is Rare crazy,or do they just have a thing against fruit?1/10

Final Score:9/10

Death by Klobb is no way to go...

The best FPS of its time on the great N64.Only to be overshadowed by the great Perfect Dark.A good and bad thing I suppose. And nothing is funnier than shooting the fat guy after he tells you some useless boring stuff.
