Name: Tidus
Age: 17
Love Interest: Yuna
Weapon: Longsword
Armor: Bucklers
Overdrive: Swordplay
Description: Tidus is a cheerful young teenager, the star blitzball player for the Zanarkand Abes. He has long resented his father, a renowned blitball player who dissapeared during Tidus's youth. Tidus's quick moves allow him to attack even the swiftest foes with ease.
Battle: Bring Tidus into the party whenever an enemy is too agile for other characters to hit. He can eliminate swift, 4-legged creatures with ease. As his strength and agility improve, he will become able to eliminate aerial enemies as well.
Personal Feelings: I don't really feel hatred nor admiration for Tidus.. He's just.. there.
Name: Yuna
Age: 17
Love Interest: Tidus
Weapon: Rods and Staves
Armor: Rings
Overdrive: Grand Summon
Description: Yuna is the daughter of the high summoner who deafeated Sin to bring about the "Calm", a time of peace. Yuna embarks on a pilgrimage to obtain the final aeon and defeat Sin. To complete her quest, Yuna has enlisted the aid of her most trusted friends as guardians.
Battle: Since Yuna already knows the Cure spell and will learn many more protective and restorative spells as she travels across the Sphere Grid, bring her into the action whenever other party members need healing or status ailments cured. Her physical attacks are ineffective, but by summon aeons Yuna can cause more damage to enemies than any other character.
Personal Feelings: I rather like Yuna. She's a good balance between humor and seriousness.
Name: Auron
Age: 35
Love Interest: None
Weapon: Blades
Armor: Bracers
Overdrive: Bushido
Description: The legendary guardian who accompanied High Summoner Braska on the pilgrimage to deafeat Sin ten years ago. Auron guides Yuna and Tidus on their mission to vanquish Sin once more. He swings his gigantic sword with such power that even the toughest fiends are cut assunder.
Battle: Almost all of Auron's massive blades bear the Piercing ability, so you should bring Auron into battle when facing an enemy with a hard shell. Auron is ineffective at attacking nimble or aerial creatures, but his Break abilities reduce the attacking and defending power of most enemies.
Personal Feelings: Auron is my favorite character in FFX. He's basically like Vincent reincarnate, without the claw or love story.
Name: Kimahri Ronso
Age: 25
Love Interest: None
Weapon: Spears & Lances
Armor: Armlets
Overdrive: Ronso Rage
Description: A young warrior of the Ronso tribe, Kimahri watched over Yuna during her early years. He is devoted to Yuna and serves her loyally as a guardian. Kimahri can learn the special attacks of the enemy with his Lancet ability.
Battle: Kimahri is a versatile character. The fact that he begins in the center of the sphere grid is an advantage, because you can then choose any direction to further Kimahri's development on the Sphere Grid. It all depends on how you choose to develop Kimahri.
Personal Feelings: I really like Kimahri. He's a rather interesting character to listen to, his words so plain that they're funny. And besides, he's got a great appearance: sturdy and strong.
Name: Wakka
Age: 24
Love Interest: Lulu
Weapon: Blitzballs
Armor: Armguards
Overdrive: Slots
Description: Although he's the captain of the Besaid Aurochs blitzball team, Wakka plans to retire from the sport after this year's tournament so that he can devote himself entirely as Yuna's guardian. His deadly blitbzall is especially useful for shooting down aerial enemies.
Battle: Bring in Wakka any time you encounter flying creatures. Wakka is the only character who can hit them with great accuracy without casting spells. With his ability to inflict status ailments early in the game, use Wakka against stronger enemies to blind, silence, or put them to sleep.
Personal Feelings: I don't really like Wakka all that much.. In fact, I never use him in battle. His personality is okay, and his accent is entertaining, but I find him rather useless.
Name: Lulu
Age: 22
Love Interest: Wakka
Weapon: Dolls
Armor: Bangles
Overdrive: Fury
Description: Lulu's experience and wisdom are valuable assets to the party. She treats Yuna as though she were her younger sister. Although she may seem insensitive at times, there are depths to her emotions that only her closest friends can understand.
Battle: Bring in Lulu whenever an enemy is strong against physical attacks or weak against a specific element. Her spellcasting enables her to attack from long range, and she can eliminate aerial enemies as well. However, her weak physical defense and low HP make her vulnerable to physical attack.
Personal Feelings: Lulu's one of my favorite characters in FFX. Her weapons are rather funny to watch, and her personality is great; ironic humor, collected, and usually calm.
Name: Rikku
Age: 15
Love Interest: None
Weapon: Claws/Gloves
Armor: Targes
Overdrive: Mix
Description: Rikku is a young Al Bhed girl with an upbeat and positive personality. She dismantles mechanical enemies with ease, and can steal from enemies as well. When Rikku joins the party near the Moonflow, her technical expertise allow you to start customizing equipment by adding abilities to the open slots on weapons and armor.
Battle: Switch Rikku into battle whenever a mechanical enemy appears. Using her Steal command, Rikku can destroy machina by taking a vital item from it. Rikku's physical attack is weak at first, so it is best for her to use items like Grenades and Smoke Bombs to attack enemies. Make sure you steal often when using Rikku. At first, she is the only character who can use Al Bhed Potions. These items restore 1000 HP to all characters and remove poison, silence, and petrification.
Person Feelings: Rikku's not really one of my favorite characters, but she's okay. I don't usually enjoy bouncy and hyper people, and that's what Rikku is.
Name: Seymour Guado
Age: 28
Love Interest: Yuna (though more than likely not)
Weapon: Magic
Armor: (none)
Overdrive: (none)
Description: Seymour is one of the main baddies in FFX, having to fight him 4 times. He is actually a spirit that has not yet been sent to Farplane. His mind is rather twisted, as shown later in the game, when it is revealed that he killed his father and hopes to keep Sin alive.
Battle: When you fight Seymour, it's not always an easy battle. Each time, if you summon any aeons, he'll dismiss them as soon as possible. He also uses strong spells such as flare and multicast firaga, waterga, blizzaga, and thundaga. In your third battle against him, he will cast zombie on one party member, and then use Life 2 on him/her, causing a KO. Remedy this by either using Holy Water, a remedy, or the spell Esuna before he gets the chance to use Life2. Also, in most of his battles, he'll summon Anima. Be very careful, because this aeon's Overdrive can wipe out your whole party.
Personal Feelings: When I first saw him, I thought that he was going to be one really awesome character. Then, when he reveals his intentions, I grew to hate him quite a lot. He's probably my least favorite character in the game. Apparently Square did their job, heheh.
