THIS WAS WRITTEN BY THEFINALFANTASY.COM This game was the first Final Fantasy game to hit the SNES and it was great. The characters were colorful and the monsters were big. The magic spells were way better and the new summon spells were awesome. The overworld map and the dungeon maps were great, a vast improvement over the original. Maybe one of the hardest Final Fantasy games, this game is actually an easy version of the Japanese version. But that doesn't make the game less fun. This game has some great moments that I won't mention in the hope not to spoil the game for anyone. Truly a great game. -thefinalfantasy.com
