TFC Classes

Scout: The scout is a relativly weak class but their main purpose is not fighting. The scout is the fastest class and is best suited for grabbing the flag and returning to base. Scouts can also reveal any disguised enemy spys.

Sniper: The Sniper has rather low body armor but his rifle more than makes up for it. With it he can zoom in and pick off targets with great accuracy. Another advantage of his rifle is that it will charge the longer you hold it down resulting in instant death to even the most heavily armored targets.

Soldier: The Soldier is the second most heavily armored target in the game. He carries an RPG as his main weapon which can kill most classes in a few shots. However he is also the second slowest class in the game. He is a good choice for all around combat.

Demoman: The Demoman carries a pipe bomb launcher that shoots pipebombs that explode after a few seconds. He also has a launcher that can set remote mines. He has medium armor and moves with average speed. He can also plant detpacks to remove obstacles from the teams path or use them to create obstacles for the enemy.

Medic: The Medic is the healer of the TFC classes. With his medkit he can heal any teammate in one hit. He can also give you extra health and infect enemies with his medkit. He also has medium armor and speed. His health slowly regenerates over time as he heals himself.

HW Guy: The HW Guy has the most armor of all the classes. This plus the fact he carries a huge gun make him the slowest class in the game. When he fires his gun it makes his movement slow down considerably so watch for fast moving targets.

Pyro: The Pyro is a good combination of speed, weapons and armor. His flamethrower will slowly burn away health for about 10 seconds before the flame is extinguished. He also has a rocket launcher that fires special napalm rockets. He has the third most armor and has average speed.

Spy: Spies are the "James Bonds" of a team. Sneaking behind enemy lines, these men can quietly eliminate almost any enemy. Spies are especially effective at killing pesky snipers or sentryguns. Spies can don the uniform of any class, friendly or enemy, to hide their true identities.

Engineer: The Engineer has the ability to build several unique items. First he can build a Sentry Gun which automatically fires at any passing enemy target. To upgrade the Sentry Gun collect at least 130 metal and hit it with your wrench (spanner). Second he can build a dispensor which will generate ammo slowly for your teammates. He can also repair his teams armor by hitting them with his wrench.
