Going Nuclear
As the air raid siren blasted, the missiles zoomed in towards the communications center. Eighteen US cruise missiles were fired from an American fleet deployed near Norway. The Nod base that they will decimate is housing a very important general of the Nod army. Anti-aircraft guns and missiles attempted to knock them out of the sky. One was shot down, but the other made contact and destroyed the base, killing the general responsible for the hijacking of a truck carrying an experimental neutron bomb.

The sky thundered as the carrier, USS Enterprise, ventured south. The Nod base in the north was home of General Alberto Martinez who planned the hijacking of the neutron bomb. Enterprise was now venturing south to Denmark. Nod transported the device to a base somewhere in Denmark when the Enterprise's battlegroup was spotted.

Once the group reached Denmark, all the aircraft available would go on reconnaisance to try to find the device. The truck was found, but no device. GDI spies managed to find where the device was. Nod scientists in China were trying to find out how the device worked so they could mass produce them for the war effort. The device had made its way to a research facility in China. American Marines stationed in Okinawa, Japan were being prepared to take the device back. Sixty Marines would be taken in by helicoptors and would sneak in the base to secure the device. It would then be returned to Hammerfest which originally housed the device.

The mission was about to begin. The men were scared and brave both. Lieutenant Riviera prepared to lead his men into battle. Riviera let out a silent prayer and closed his eyes. He gripped his H&K G3A3 and set it to fully automatic as he thought about the fate that may lay ahead.

The Nod Soldiers guarding a checkpoint weren't much of a threat. There was no way that 4 scorpion worshippers with Mac-10 submachine guns could stand up to 60 elite of the elite GDI Marines.

"Open fire!" screamed a Nod sergeant. The 4 troops released a hail of bullets on the helo. The GDIs wanted to not have to hurt the guards, but had no choice now.

One of the GDIers dropped a grenade which killed all 4 Noddies. They were stupid to stand so close. Now they were 20 feet apart, blown into all directions by the grenade. They ventured forth to the base. Once the base was just over the horizon, the troops were offloaded. It was dark, so Nod would have a hard time spotting the attackers. The men marched towards the base. They did not know, however, that Nod knew they were coming.

The ground started to rumble, just like Hell coming up to swallow the GDI troops. Four flame spewing tanks emerged and set fire to the GDIers. Four men managed to fire RPGs at the trigger-happy tanks. Fifteen men were dead, but that was not all. The ground erupted as 3 APCs emerged and Noddies popped out. Rockets blasted and guns wailed as the skirmishing continued. The GDIs were almost half depleted by now. They still marched on to the Nod base.

The APC's returned and notified the Noddies that GDI was approaching. Helicopters were dispatched, but shot down by the RPGs. Nod had little left to throw at the GDIs. Most of the Noddies were out fighting in a large battle over Moscow.

The GDI's started firing The gate opened and 3 "Tick Tanks" drove out, but exploded into flames as RPGs hit them.

Now the troops rushed in. Noddies were hiding behind the gate to hose the GDIs with bullets, but grenades the GDIs threw in killed them. All hell has broken loose and GDI is kicking ass. The Noddies called for reinforcements but most likely they'd be too late. The real goal Nod had was to keep the neutron bomb, and GDI would get away with it in less than 2 minutes. A team of GDI "Juggernauts," deployed half a mile away, began firing. The Nod base was shelled while the troops searched for the bomb. The bomb was found in the communications center and the helos were called to pick up the troops and bomb.

A red streak flew across the sky. The reinforcements! The Juggernaut team radioed they were under attack and the line went dead. A few slower craft flew in and started shooting at the GDI helos. RPGs put them out of commision. The Banshees were a lot faster so they were harder to target. There were 2 Banshees left between victory and failure. The Banshees were attacking the helo with the bomb, but they didn't know that if it went off, everything withing 15 miles would be dead.

A white streak crossed the sky. Orcas! Several smaller streaks formed and the Banshees went down. The Orcas then escorted us back to the base. When we returned to our base, we were all given medals for accomplishments. Some of them ended up decorated like Christmas trees for their valor in combat.
