Duel Beretta Elites-These guns are very weak but very accurate. The clip is also the largest among the pistols. The reloading takes quite a bit longer than the other pistols. It is available for Terrorists only.

Glock 18-This 9mm pistol is often underrated. With the 20 round clip it has a large clip among pistols. The burst fire option is also good for gettin headshots on opponents passinge below.

H&K Mk 23-This .45 caliber pistol is one of the best. The 12 round clip gives it a good balance between firepower and clip size. The optional silencer also gives it the advantage of stealth.

Desert Eagle-The .50 caliber Desert Eagle Action Express is the most powerful of the pistols. However it also has the smallest clip size. This pistol is recommended for veterans who can aim well.

Sig P228-This pistol has a good balance of firepower and clip size. However it is one of the most expensize pistols. This gun is also very accurate.

FN 5.7-Designed to pierce body armor this pistol packs a punch. This is easily the best pistol combining a good clip size, firepower and rate of fire. It is also very accurate. It is available for Counter-Terrorists only.

Benelli M3 Super-This pump action shotgun is a good choice for up close combat. The pump action makes it a bit slower but it makes up for it with better firepower.

Benelli XM1014-This fully auto shotgun is the best choice for close quarters battles. With its rapid fire it makes quick work of any enemy at close range. However the massive recoil makes it very inacurate.

MP5 Navy-This is a very accurate SMG. A skilled marksman could use this weapon to snipe easily. This gun is also cheap making it a very popular weapon.

Tactical Machine Pistol-The TMP is the cheapest SMG. It has a built in silencer making it very stealthy. It also has a very fast reload though the accuracy isnt very good. It is available for Counter-Terrorists only.

Ingram Mac-10-This weapon is very popular among terrorists. Its cheap price and fast rate of fire make it a good buy. However its accuracy leaves something to be desired. It is available for Terrorists only.

FN P90-This weapon sports the fastest fire rate in all of CS. It also has the largest clip of all the SMG. However it gets inaccurate when shooting very quickly.

UMP 45-This very accurate SMG has the best power of all the SMGs. However its clip size and rate of fire are among the lowest of the SMGs.

AK-47-This is a very good rifle. Its cheap price and excellent power make it a good buy for terrorists. It also has high accuracy. It is available for Terrorists only.

SIG 552-This rifle comes with a low level scope that is good for killing enemys at medium range. It also has good firepower and you can quickly decimate an opponent at close range. It is availible for Terrorists only.

M4A1-This is the CT version of the AK-47. However it is better than the AK in all fields. It also comes with a silencer for a more stealthy approach. It is available to Counter-Terrorists only.

Steyr Aug-This is quite possibly the best assault rifle in the game. It has a scope for medium range engagements. It is also more accurate than the SIG 552. Its firepower isnt super high but it is still rather strong. It is available to Counter-Terrorists only.

Steyr Scout-This sniper rifle may look and sound weak but its quite the opposite. With only two or three shots to the chest you can kill most targets. It also has the quickest reload of the sniper rifles. It is also the cheapest.

Arctic Warfare Magnum-The AWM is the most powerful sniper rifle in the game. With a shot to the leg you will leave a target crippled while a shot anywhere else is instant death. This rifle is also extremly loud so dont use it if your going for the stealth approach.

H&K G3/SG-1-This sniper rifle has the second most power of the rifles. However since it is the most expensive and the least accurate most people chose a different gun. It is available to Terrorists only.

SIG 550-This is an excellent sniper rifle. It doesnt excell in any fields but takes a more "middle of the road" approach. It is available to Counter-Terrorists only.

FN M249 Para-The Para is the only machine gun availible in CS. It is not very accurate but with 100 rounds per clip it is more of a suppressive fire weapon. At close range you can easily decimate a target with this weapon.

Kevlar Vest-The Kevlar Vest is an excellent choice for protection against bullets. The vest covers everywhere from the neck to the tips of the arms to the waist. The vest is more effective against pistols than it is against SMGs or rifles.

Kevlar Vest and Balistic Helmet-While the Kevlar Vest offers complete protection for the upper body it left out critical head protection. The Balistic Helmet is designed to stop most lower caliber rounds but it will help against rifles to.

Flashbang-The flashbang is a grenade that does no damage. Instead it blinds anyone who sees it for several seconds. This item should be used to blind targets and then kill them.

HE Grenade-This is a standard HE grenade. It will explode after several seconds and damage anyone nearby. It is a great item for room clearing.

Smoke Grenade-Use this grenade to cover large areas with smoke. The smoke will block enemys from seeing you so you can sneak around quietly and kill them.

Defuse Kit-This item is availible only on de_ maps. It speeds up the time it takes you to defuse a bomb. It is available for Counter-Terrorists only.

Night Vision Goggles-Use the NVGs to see in low light situations. If you have them and the enemy doesnt try to find a way to cut the lights so you will have the advantage.
