You taught me wrong from right, So I write you this tonight.

You say I've grown up so fast. Let's reflect on the years of past.

I know you'll always be there. Anything with you, I'm free to share.

You always said, "No matter what, I'm proud". I didn't have to follow the crowd.

You were there whenever I needed you most. Of this, be sure, I'll always boast.

You From my first terrifying Earthquake, up to my most recent headache.

You were there, everytime I got scared. It may seem like I never noticed, or even cared.

You taught me to stay up front. Not to be hunted but to hunt.

Without you there, I'd never be the same. Beginning even with my very unique name.

You told me it's ok to be different, and just what love really meant.

You showed me just how to love, In ways I'd never thought of.

That love is not shown with things. Gifts, presents, money, or even rings.

You But is shown with you heart. To thank you, I know not where to start.

But with these few words, I'll do me best. In hopes that inside, you know the rest.

For your love, I want to thank you, and let you know, you make me proud too.
