Significant Club Events
2007 June The final meeting of the DCOC was held tonight (1st June 2006) at the Yamba Club. Attendees were: Andrew Geraghty (President), Doug Stewart (Secretary) and Paul Armstead (Long standing and regular member).
2005 December 14th AGM and The 14th Club Champion was 'Doug Stewart'. Club has completed 123 meetings & 147 games. 2006 February Seventh DCOC 18 centre victory went to Doug Stewart as Russia. The 18 centre victories have now been Andrew Goff (Austria 2001 & Italy 1996), Andrew Geraghty (Russia 1998), Adam Stewart (Russia 1999), Doug Stewart (Russia 2006), Paul Armstead (France 2002) and Paul Newman (Turkey 2003).
2005 December 13th AGM and The 13th Club Champion was 'Paul Armstead'. Club has completed 119 meetings & 144 games.
2004 December 12th AGM and The 12th Club Champion was 'Paul Newman', who becomes the first triple champion. Club has completed 110 meetings & 133 games.
2003 December 11th AGM and The 11th Club Champion was 'Paul Newman', who claimes his second title. Club has completed 105 meetings & 128 games. 2003 September Martial Law was proposed as an alternative ruling for play when insufficient numbers are available. Martial Law is Civil Disorder with "defensive only support" for it's units. The idea is that the reader of the orders (prior to reading all orders including his own) will announce the supports of the countries in Civil disorder. The countries units may NOT move, nor offer support to any other countries units. The intent is to reduce the ease with which a 'neutral' country can be over-run. 2003 July Sixth DCOC 18 centre victory went to Paul Newman as Turkey. The 18 centre victories have now been Andrew Goff (Austria 2001 & Italy 1996), Andrew Geraghty (Russia 1998) and Adam Stewart (Russia 1999), Paul Armstead (France 2002), Paul Newman (Turkey 2001). 2003 June The club celebrated it's 100th meeting on the 6th of June, 2003. This was the 123rd game played in the club. Present on the night were : Doug Stewart, Andrew Geraghty, Paul Armstead, Paul Newman, Don Burgess & Terry Webb.
2002 December 10th AGM and The 10th Club Champion was 'Paul Newman'. Club has completed 95 meetings & 118 games. 2002 November Fifth DCOC 18 centre victory went to Paul Armstead as France. The 18 centre victories have now been Andrew Goff (Austria & Italy), Andrew Geraghty (Russia) and Adam Stewart (Russia), Paul Armstead (France).
2001 December 9th AGM and The 9th Club Champion was 'Andrew Geraghty', who claimes his second title. Club has completed 86 meetings & 106 games. 2001 September Fourth DCOC 18 centre victory went to Andrew Goff as Austria. The 18 centre victories have now been Andrew Goff (Austria & Italy), Andrew Geraghty (Russia) and Adam Stewart (Russia). 2001 April The DCOC played it's 100th Game. At this stage the club has had 80 meetings. Present on the night were : Paul Armstead, Paul Gill, Damian Browne, Geoffrey Moore, Doug Stewart, Andrew Goff & Andrew Galin.
2000 December 8th AGM and The 8th Club Champion was 'Doug Stewart', who is also the first person to claim the title twice. Club has completed 77 meetings & 97 games.
1999 December Seventh AGM and The 7th Club Champion was 'Adam Stewart' Club has completed 71 meetings & 91 games. 1999 November The third 18 centre victory went to Adam Stewart as Russia.
1998 December Sixth AGM and Awards The sixth Club Champion was 'Andrew Geraghty'. Club had completed 62 meetings & 82 games. 1998 March 6th DCOC celebrated its Fifth Anniversary. 1998 January The second 18 centre victory went to Andrew Geraghty as Russia.
1997 December Fifth AGM and Awards The fifth Club Champion was 'Doug Stewart'. Andrew Geraghty became the second DCOC Veteran. 1997 July 50th DCOC meeting
1996 December Fourth AGM and Awards The fourth Club Champion was 'Andrew Goff'. Doug Stewart became the first DCOC Veteran. 1996 April Andrew Goff as Italy, has the first DCOC 18 centre victory.
1995 December Third AGM and Awards The third Club Champion was 'Reg Philp'. 1995 December 50th club game 1995 March 25th DCOC meeting
1994 December Second AGM and Awards The second Club Champion was 'Ian Castle'. 1994 July 25th club game
1993 December First AGM and Awards The first Club Champion was 'Dave Bryant'. 1993 July 2nd DCOC moved to the Slovenian-Australian Association, Philip. 1993 Apr, May, Jun DCOC meetings held at the Burns Club, Kambah. 1993 March 1st First Meeting - at the RSL Club in Civic.
